Victoria: The Complete Second Season Masterpiece

I love a great story

Yes, it really is very good. The chemistry between the actors makes the series remarkable. You totally believe Victoria and Albert love each other.This series is very sympathetic and romantic. You like Albert and Victoria, though the real people would not have cared for that reaction. Albert is innovative, earnest, and intelligent. Victoria is a bit self absorbed but with Albert she becomes a better person. They thrown in historical bits which actually happened. The second love story involving Albert's brother Earnest almost steals the show. You truly care for the rogue and his frustrated love.The production is first rate. The CGI fills in the corners so well that you don't realize you are not seeing the real thing. The color and camera work is gorgeous.

I love this series, but the editing out of significant scenes is very disappointing. The Blu-ray version is different from the series on PBS. The episode about the Irish potato famine is especially flawed with important plot lines omitted. Why edit this series? Why not simply produce what was seen in the UK? In the Christmas episode, however, there are scenes not shown on PBS that added so much to the story. Scenes of Albert and Victoria's Christmas gifts to each other were left out on PBS, but are in the Blu-ray version. Why all the confusion and disappointment? Buyers should be able to get the whole series. Why is that so difficult?

This show is so good. It's everything! I love these characters so much! I'm sad about some of the things that happened. NO SPOILERS!This show makes me feel both happy and sad. I hated it's over so soon and I'm ready for next season. There better be a next season!!The last episode 'The Christmas' episode was my absolute favorite. There are sad things but so many happy things. I cried through most of the show but it was good crying. I also fell right in love with Sarah. That's all I'm saying!Fantastic!Mel ❤️

This is a great period drama. I watched both seasons and the acting of Jenna Coleman and Tom Hughes is amazing. They have great chemistry onscreen and the story captivates you from the beginning of their love story through the many phases of their journey. The writers make the politics of the day very interesting also. Great series.

Victoria is one of my favorite shows. Each episode is a masterpiece. This is one you will want to watch over and over again. If you haven't already tried it, do start with season one but you might as well order season two because you will not want to stop at the end of season one.

You've likely read intelligent summaries of the plot elsewhere. Let me say that season 2 is better than season one. Sounds impossible! But it's true. Maybe it's because the Victoria character is growing up and living more as a regular, and lusty, young woman? Dunno. Just know this series is very, very engaging and marvelous.

Solid follow up to the first season.

Victoria season 2 is another engaging set of royalty - soap opera, with some basis in fact. Setting historical accuracy aside, this series continues to be quite entertaining.
