Push up pro
These take a little getting used to. Not much experience with wrist movement during push ups but I can tell the difference in the lack of wrist strain and that is why I wanted to try them. Whether or not they produce the same results in my muscle developement is yet to be determined. I notice I can't do as many pushups with these as I can with stationary stands so I'm assuming I'm working more muscle... or different muscle anyway.

Turns pushups into a total upper-body workout
Pushups are a great upper-body exercise. But based on web reviews on the added benefits of pushup stands I decided to give this a try. Of course there is a more well known version but based on reviews here and the price I went for this one.So far I am very impressed. These make pushups much harder from a strength persective since you are twisting your arms and you can go down further. But the twist you do really helps out with your arms, espeically biceps, added to the great pect workout pushups provide. Also you have to balance yourself a bit more so you are probably getting a better 'core' workout. My weight pushes around 250lbs so I put a lot of pressure on the handles. But so far they have held up well and fine for me from a comfort perspective. 5 stars for a handy and useful addition to my exercise equipment that is getting me results, does not cost much, and is easy to take on the road if you want to.

Strong Product.........
I purchased this to train my clients with weak wrists when doing push-ups. They are truly strong and slip resistant even on tile and concrete flooring. I also like the increased challenge it gives you when doing push-ups because it naturally allows you to get lower on your relax phase of work out.

Must have; skeptic turned
I bought this skeptically, but with some hope. I have never tried any type of push up discs that spin before. These are a must have! This works solidly... I don't see any reason to go with a more expensive product, but admittedly I have not tried any others. I can see these lasting me at least several years. I'm not work out expert, but I can only do about 2/3 to 3/4 of the push ups I can do without these and feel the same burn/work out. I don't ever feel any of my muscles twist in the slightest as I sometimes do with my hands in fixed positions. I also like the challenge trying to move the quarter twist with each rep in a very controlled smooth fashion. It doesn't make a push up work out any easier, any harder... just better and more comfortable. I highly recommend these if you like to do alot of push ups.

Durable, but flawed design
This cheaper "Perfect Pushup" alternative is definitely made of cheaper materials (plastic) but has lasted me years. My biggest complaint is that the handles are flat on the top (palmar side), as opposed to the cylindrical handles of the Perfect PushUp. This flat top seems to produce much less evenly distributed force and even pain on the hands, and is in general a little less comfortable/natural than the cylindrical hand grips of basically all other weight-training equipment ever made.

Solid product at a decent price.
Compared to another, similar product the Push Up Pro is a great deal. They both have the same design concept, but you can get your hands on this product for about half the price. Despite the big price difference, for your money you will receive a product that is sturdy, rotates smoothly, and is comfortable on the palms of your hands. I have done standard military push ups for years, and while it took me a minute to get used the rotation this device introduces into the movement, I have found that it feels more natural and puts less strain on my joints. Its probably too early to tell (I just bought the Push Up Pro two weeks ago), but it seems to be helping me take my strength and physique to the next level. Just get it. You'll be glad you did.

Easy on my wrists!
These make push ups SO much easier on my wrists. I'm a programmer so I type all day and my wrists are a bit tweaky. "Normal" push ups hurt. With these, there is no pain at all. I can do way more push ups using these. I wasn't pushing myself to my limits at all before because I had to stop when my wrists gave up. Now I can stop when my chest or triceps give up, which is how it's supposed to be done.Other than the rubber grips, these are 100% plastic, so they feel a bit cheap. They don't feel like they're going to break, but they weigh almost nothing. I've only had them for two days and the other reviews are reasonably positive, so I don't expect any problems. Just saying. If I experience any problems with them in this regard, I will update the review.

Can't beat the value
I read some of the negative reviews for this product and it did make me hesitate, but ultimately I decided the price point (about 20% of the price of the "perfect pushup" product) made it worth the risk. I admit that I don't do a lot of push ups in one stretch on these - maybe 20 at max so far - but I've encountered no issues at all. The action is very smooth, they don't hurt my hands, they do stay in place. I have not used the more expensive product, so I can't compare directly, but I can't imagine what would be so much better to justify the higher price. I've only had these for a short amount of time, but they seem to be virtually indestructable. If you aren't sure, well worth the try.
