Mega is BACK!
Dani O’Malley is the bees knees as we all believed! The fire cracker in Mac’s shadow is finally taking flight on the life she was destined for! Beautiful, strong, with and unyielding commitment to those who can’t protect themselves, Dani finds herself in another situation that she is battling her way through, for the people of Dublin, the Abbey and the world. Things might have calmed down for a bit, but nothing in Dublin stays silent.I’ve seen mixed reviews for this novel and frankly it’s unfathomable! My Dani and Ryodan cravings have been barely satisfied! But IT WAS EVERYTHING!! Ryodan is a man of steel, but in true natures form of forcing magnets together, we see a side of the mystery, the man who would burn worlds down for our girl!I CAN’T GET ENOUGH!!!!Questions are answered.Characters are challenged. They overcome. They adjust. They battle on.And the future is bright. The Fever is still strong in this one!

Simply Stunning!
This is the book that fans have been waiting for, the one that ties all the pieces together in the story arc of Dani "Mega" O'Malley and it's simply stunning!I'm just going to start off by saying I'm biased. I love KMM. Completely. Totally. I find her writing style to be thought provoking and with a depth that few authors can achieve. If you're already a fan of the Fever Series and are just checking in to see if High Voltage is worth it? Does it live up to expectations? All I can say is-yes it is and it most definitely surpasses all expectations. I won't be leaving any spoilers. To do so would ruin the journey. For those of you new to the Fever Series, I will say that more so than any other book in the series this one could possibly stand alone. However, I would recommend starting at the beginning. There is just so much life to see lived on the pages that will enrich every inch of your reading experience. I guarantee it's well worth your time.KMM's writing is an absolute masterpiece with life lessons for us all. Every new book, every new chapter, it always leaves me with a profound feeling of awe. Karen's understanding of the human struggle, this epic adventure of life, and the brilliant way that her prose highlights all of the different facets in between is nothing short of a masterpiece. Bravo!

There will never be a series quite like this one ....
This will always be my favorite series!! Even though I have a hard time enjoying Dani's POV (wasn't thrilled with Iced), i'm glad to see her more mature and that helps me. Yes she still had lots of immature moments but she's still young. I will admit I did get a little bored in the beginning when everyone was gone and it was just Dani. I think I just miss Mac and Barrons so much! But I will say KMM shocked me again with all those "confessions" by Ryodan at the end and those twists and turns about Dani. I loved how she tied the very first chapter(which confused the crap out of me) to the ending and I loved it!!! Can't wait for more ..... even if I have to have more books of Dani's POV just so I can still be in this world! I will be keeping my fingers crossed that we will have more of Mac and Barrons in the future!!

Read it, read it, read it!!!
Ok...here's the thing...I have always been bad about leaving reviews for Karen's books because I can't ever not give anything away...this one won't be one of those reviews. So, to be honest, and probably raked over the coals, I didn't really like Dani...or Ryo for that matter. I was a Mac and Barrons fan all the way...to be fair, still am...but......and there it is, the "but." Guys, get the book. Read it. Read it again. Be ready for the fastest ride yet, because when we were told this is the end of Dani's story arc, Karen wasn't kidding. We had 10 books, granted Dani was in a few, but 10 books of Mac and Barrons...High Voltage felt like 10 books in the same package, but with a promise of more stories...So there you go, that's my review...this is the first time I have ever been able to write one because I knew I could do it without giving anything away...read this book, xxLyndsey

Read it fast, and then slow
This is a story that demands to be read more than once. The first read through is a frantic turning of pages, skimming for names, and trying to get to the answer- and all the while you’re just hoping it’s the answer that, as a reader, you need it to be to not feel cheated. You hold your breath, exhale, and hold it again over and over as the plot twists and turns. In the first read through you find yourself irritated by scenes that you might otherwise enjoy if not for the fact that you just need to know the ending. So when you get there go back and re-read. Let yourself appreciate what a storyteller KMM is and what she’s able to do one installment after the next. And then kick yourself for reading the book too freaking fast knowing that it’s a long year of waiting ahead for the next one to come out.

Love it!
So may emotions in one book. It draws you in all the way to the end. It answers old questions and opens new ones yet still leaves you with an ending.

Red threads - Love Story - Paranormal
I was so afraid with such high expectations, this book would be disappointing. Sometimes we put so much pressure on the author the next book is not what we want it to be. Karen Marie Moning delivered. It was epic, unbelievable written, sit on the edge of your seat thrilling but beautiful.I have read the entire series. Thinking it couldn’t get better but it did. She is able to transport you, you are the book, the characters, the story. It’s not a cliff hanger but you know it will continue. I can hardly wait.

So happy
What an epic story for an epic girl—-Dani’s story amazed me in a way only Karen can do. I was worried I wasn’t going to be happy with the ending, but she pulled it together magnificently. This IS a Dani story, Mac barely makes mentions. Wonderful, totally worth my book hangover tomorrow morning.

“I’m okay I’m...”
High Voltage was a different book to what I was expecting. In comparison to the first nine books, which were chock full of mystery, intrigue and blow-you-over plot reveals; High Voltage was much more of a character study, with some HUGE moments serving the character development, but it played out a bit more understated than the previous books.Personally, I think it pairs well with Feversong, because whilst FS was the culmination of various plot threads that had been established in the earlier books, it was also very much about Mac accepting the many facets of her own character.HV expands on this idea by moving the heftier story elements to the background and delving into the forces that drive Dani. She is logical and guarded, she has been conditioned to compartmentalise her own thoughts and feelings, she has suffered abuses and loss beyond imagination, she has an exacting eye and a lust for life. She’s always been a character that I’ve viewed in contradictions. One moment she is zipping around Dublin without a care in the world, her emotions pouring out of her and the next moment she is shut off from everyone around her. After HV, I think I finally understand her and why it had to be this tenth book in the series where things clicked into place for me.Some may think that there is a little bit of deus ex machina at play, towards the end of the book, but Dani has been through her fair share of suffering and sacrifice in order for the ending to be the exact type of ending that the book should have had. This was a story about growing up, family, love and belonging. It was a story about grasping on to the things that you want in life, but also seeking and owning the things that you have to work hard for - the things you have to earn the right to deserve, where the pay-off is so much sweeter. And finally, it was a story about finding your match, mate, the other part of your soul and having to work on understanding and loving yourself to perfect clarity so that those two pieces could finally fit together without the fissures that were there before. This was not the book I was expecting, but I’m so damn happy that it was the book I got.

High Voltage combines edge-of-your-seat storytelling intermingled with intensely still moments that are so beautiful they will squeeze your soul
This is the latest book in the Fever series and focuses on our flame-haired girl Dani 'Mega' O'Malley and the sexy Ryodan. Thrilling, emotional, contemplative, dreamlike and delectably quotable, High Voltage combines edge-of-your-seat storytelling intermingled with intensely still moments that are so beautiful they will squeeze your soul. It's full of Karen Moning's sharp, clever wit, those slick bits of writing typical in all the Fever books that make you laugh out loud. No spoilers here, bookworms - if you want to know the story, read it. I highly recommend it.

10th in the Fever Series & another amazing book from KMM
10th in the Fever Series & another amazing book from KMM. It had me laughing & crying & haven't been able to put it down. Started reading it this morning on the flight back from Dublin after meeting Karen & the Moning Maniacs & have just finished. If you haven't read any of this series then start at the beginning with Dark Fever & work your way through. You wont be disappointed. These books are so much more than just good reads.

Good but not great
So finally able to get stuck into Dani and her love story. I'm sad to say after a long wait this story was lacking. It felt rushed and a bit weak. Very disappointed . After tension being built over several books it was all very mediocre . Weak villains no real plot and a loss of general oomph my rating reflects the love of the original characters. Not worth the high price tag.

Happy Ever After
What a roller coaster. Missed my much loved characters, all of them. Always hoped that Ryodan and Dani would finally get together and wasn't disappointed. They've belonged together since the beginning and I am so looking forward to see where they all go next. With KMM there is always another chapter. Hope its not too long coming.

I love the Fever series
I love the Fever series, but i felt a little flat once I had finished HV it wasn’t the epic story I was hoping for. KMM stated Ryodan would eclipse Barron’s but for me this didn't happen, the relationship/romance felt rushed. I was glad Dani got her HEA but wished for a more substantial story.

It doesn’t hold a candle to the rest of her books.
Was so disappointed. Where was the romance. I love weird but this book went too far. Was bored and it took me ages to read it. Thumbs down all the way. So bad.
