The UPWOIGH wall art comes framed and in all honesty the photos in the product description page and also the ones I’ve attached to this review don’t do it justice at all. It looks absolutely lovely in real life. I was actually taken aback a little when I opened the package as it was much better than I was expecting it to be. There are several choices of wall arts on the product description page, and I opted for the depiction of "Exercising the Royal Horses" by John Frederick Herring. We have a lot of antique furniture as we love the old country house style of décor, and this artwork blends in seamlessly and is right up our street. Obviously it’s a print, but it has kind of a mottled effect on it to try to make it look more like a painting. I’m sure there is some kind of technical name for this effect, but I’m not sure what it is. I’ve attached a couple of photos to this review to show what I mean. I got this with the intention of putting it up in my home office, but I like it so much I decided it would be wasted in there, so found a spot for it in my dining room instead so it can be seen and admired by visitors too. I’m really so pleased with this. An easy five stars!

I love the size of this artwork. Its compact dimensions allow me ample space in my home office for other artistic treasures, while still being sizable enough to appreciate the finer details of this charming scene from a lovely Belgian town. The piece, titled "Small Town near La Panne," is the work of the talented Norwegian Impressionist painter Frits Thaulow, created back in 1905. Apparently he'd acquired one of those new-fangled automobiles at the time and enjoyed heading out to various towns in the area. Anyway, the National Gallery of Norway showcases an impressive selection of 37 of his works! One thing I particularly adore about this wall art is the lovely wooden frame. Also, the textured paper enhances the painting-like quality. The colours look reasonably faithfully reproduced, and the more intricate details are there. I'm happy to have it as the centrepiece in my office, and even my wife has made a rare commendation about it - a special nod considering her discerning eye for art!
