First off, these light bulbs are not glass. They feel like some kind of plastic. But they do work. It has a dawn to dark sensor and does not come on during the day. You simply install the light bulb, turn on the switch, wait for dark and motion will turn it on. After 30 seconds it turns off. How great is that? LOL. It comes in a two pack and it's equivalent to 60 watt bulb. And they are very inexpensive. I've seen or single bulbs have cost this much and more. The only drawback that I can see is this very sensitive to extreme temperatures, like below zero. And of course it doesn't work if there's other lights around and should be kept away from temperatures changes like refrigerators, stoves, heaters. And you shouldn't use the switch to turn this light off and on. You need to leave the switch on at all times. Like I said this is a good buy and I do recommend that you use these for safety and security reasons.

I had these set outside on my deck. They would come on at first movement, but shut off even when I was still walking back and forth. Sometimes they would come back on and detect me and sometimes they wouldn't. Not sure if I can recommend these.

As the product details describe, these bulbs cannot be used in a light fixture with any sort of covering - even clear glass. The motion sensors only work properly when they are completely exposed.

Remember that the motion sensor only works from dusk to dawn also, it will not work during daytime since the light sensor turns off this LED Bulb. Also, the sensor at the end or top of the bulb needs to be exposed for better coverage area. Both bulbs worked as expected, with good sensitive sensors, and no issues at all. Great to have at my front door porch, no need to keep turning off the light in the morning and turning it on at night, now I just leave the light switch ON all the time.

These lights didn't work as described

Was excited to get these but alas they didn't fit. Bummer.

These lights bulbs work perfectly for my needs. I always like to have a light on in my living spaces at night. These light bulbs are easy to use. No programming time off and on. 5 stars.

I was looking for motion sensir lights to replace my existing outside lamps but all of thise were such high $$ then I stumbled upon these bulbs and i was like Wow such an EASY fix to the problem. Motion Sensor Bulbs!!! Although they do have limited range like they turn on when you are about within two feet of the bulb still such a great easy fix. And such a reasonable and cheap option. Definitely definitely recommended for every household
