Q: How easy is this product to wash out of hair?

It seems to wash out easily but I didn't use a ton of it either - just maybe a dime-sized amount. My hair is relatively short, straight and fine. I was trying to eliminate hairspray but found that this product does not hold my hair in place so have gone back to hairspray until I can find something non-toxic that works better. Hope this helps.

Q: Does this have the kind of hold that a styling clay has?

It's a light weight I have short hair and I find it pretty good I do not use clay so can't give u a comparison.. My favorite is bungee by Lanza which has a stronger hold although it's more expensive

Q: Does this leave hair shiny

No - very natural looking but gives the body you want. Love it!
