Good Solution for IR Problems
Worked for a box mounted behind my TV that I could not get a remote signal to. This is a cheap and easy fix.

My elderly mother has limited range of motion in her arms and was struggling to get the remote and TV to communicate without a major struggle. I set this up in under 2 minutes and it worked immediately. In her situation we mounted the receiver portion above her tv and there is no lag and the tv responds to her remote with little effort from her. She was so happy with this solution and so was I. Amazing price for a great solution to a very frustrating problem. I can’t speak as to how well it would work on a very large room but it does amazingly well in her averaged sized living room. Cord length was more than adequate on her 65 inch tv.

Buy from someone else
The Amazon package had no damage to it but the item inside had moisture, a little rust on the usb, and the plastic shield popped office like it was squashed. It will not pop back on. It still works but I'm not pleased.

Does not work for smart TV remotes
Does not work with smart tv remotes. This is meant for basic style remotes from all things. Works great for basic remotes, not at all for any smart TV.

Very good signal repeater
Fantastic product! I have a center channel for my surround sound that blocks the infrared sensor on my Sony Bravia TV that never works. I always have to get up to turn the TV on or off as well as other functions. So I purchased this product and it worked like a charm. Very simple to install, took less than 5 minutes . I didn’t have no compatibility issues. It was plugged play . Simply stick on the transmitting sensor by the receiving sensor on the TV and then the extended sensor for receiving from your remote control put where you would like it, lastly plug in the USB plug into any 5V power block and you’re done. Now I have no issues with range with controlling my TV, which is great.!👏🏼. Definitely a good product. I would highly recommend…
