Surprisingly Great Hub!
When I opened the box and looked over the hub, it felt super light. I checked everything over to see how I would place the hub behind my MacBook next to my Anker Prime Power Station. The HDMI output is awesome. Currently I have a portable monitor that can project 3K at 120Hz. Currently, it's pushing 3K at 100Hz which is actually higher than what was advertised for the hub. It's also powering my 2025 MacBook Air M4. I just tested the read/write speeds on a G-technology 1TB G-Drive SSD with a Thunderbolt 3 cable and it's fast fast! 2.5 Gig write and nearly 2.9 Gig read speeds! All that while powering my MacBook Air, running a 4K HDR movie, and the SSD attached. I also ran a 26 Gig 4K movie from the SSD to the extended display with zero issues with VLC being the video player. Works perfectly! The only thing I would of loved was the ability to do Thunderbolt display capabilities. It's not a deal breaker whatsoever. HDMI does allow a significantly better picture with my extended monitor, because the MacBook does all the work and doesn't require for me to fine tune the settings for an optimized picture. Another selling point for me was the price and the amount of USB-C ports. It was under $25 and provided me the necessities for what I needed. It's super small, super light, and highly portable. Loads of connections and they all feel solid when plugging in cables on all ports. The icons that reflect connectivity is a cute gimmick and it's actually an extremely functional aspect for troubleshooting if necessary. It'll take time to memorize what icons are what, but it's an added feature I didn't know I needed. This is easily the best hub I have ever bought. It doesn't even need a power supply to be functional either, which my desktop version requires and is incredibly slow. UGreen has been an incredible brand, alongside Anker when it comes to quality, craftsmanship, and price. They are the only two I use reliably and regularly. Easily one of the best purchases I've made in 2025.

Compact, light, and portable, with LOTS of functionality!
At $25 it's a bargain! The two USB-C data ports are super useful, in addition to the two USB-A ports for things like peripherals. Literally plug and play. The hub says 100W PD passthrough charging, but do know that the hub takes away about 15W from that, so about 85W passes through to the computer, which is still plenty for things like a MacBook Air, iPad, or potentially a MacBook Pro if the workload isn't too intense. It is really portable and compact (the length matches to the width of a 13" MacBook Air trackpad (see picture)), and I'm able to put it in my little tech pouch to hold it. I've tested this with multiple Macs and my iPad Pro, and it is compatible with all of them. I've put this hub to the test over the past month, with my most intense being powering my MacBook Air, while plugged into an external monitor via the HDMI (which has no issues whatsoever powering external displaces), both USB-A ports being used for peripherals, and both USB-C data ports being occupied for external SSDs. It is important to remember that even though each port on the listing claim 10gbps, that is the theoretical max speed. So if you have multiple devices that use bandwidth, the bandwidth is split between all the devices. The hub is pretty smart at managing this bandwidth, as plugging in external peripherals with low bandwidth (like mouse dongles) don't take away from the bandwidth at all.

Reliable and Compact Hub for High-Speed Connectivity
The UGREEN Uno 6-in-1 USB-C Hub has proven to be a powerful addition for anyone needing extra ports and high-speed data transfer. With its compact design and array of functionalities, it’s ideal for maximizing productivity with minimal hassle. Design and Build The hub is compact, lightweight, and feels sturdy, with a design that complements MacBooks, iPads, and other USB-C laptops. It’s small enough to easily carry around in a laptop bag or sleeve. UGREEN has clearly prioritized portability and durability here, which is perfect for travel and daily use. Performance Equipped with 10Gbps USB-C and USB-A data ports, this hub transfers large files quickly and efficiently. The 4K@60Hz HDMI output works flawlessly, providing clear visuals with no noticeable lag on an external monitor. This makes it perfect for presentations, video editing, or expanding screen space on the go. Heat from Usage After extended usage, the hub does get warm, though it’s manageable and doesn’t affect performance. Some warmth is expected with high-speed data transfers and multiple ports in use. UGREEN seems to have designed it to handle this heat safely, and it cools down quickly once disconnected. In my experience, the warmth isn’t a concern, but it’s something to be aware of if you’re using all ports for extended periods. Pros High-Speed Data Transfer: The 10Gbps ports are ideal for quick file transfers. 4K HDMI Output: Seamlessly connects to external displays with excellent clarity. Wide Compatibility: Works with various devices including MacBook, iPad Pro, and more. Portable Design: Lightweight and compact, easy to carry. Plug-and-Play: No drivers needed, so setup is a breeze. Cons Limited Power Delivery: Doesn’t support high-wattage pass-through charging, so it may not power larger laptops efficiently. Cable Length: The built-in cable could be a bit longer for certain setups. Final Verdict: The UGREEN Uno 6-in-1 Hub is a versatile, high-performance tool for anyone needing more connectivity options. It’s especially valuable for those in need of fast data transfers and quality external display support. For the price, it’s an excellent investment in productivity.

Is This Ugreen products better than expected?
Are Ugreen products including this one better than similarly priced devices? So far, including this product, it does seem like Ugreen products/devices are built and finished better than similarly priced similar products of various other brands sold on Amazon. What I’m finding is more consistency in build quality, fit & finish as well as stated vs actual performance. That said, the cutesy intent of displaying general hub status in the shape of nose and eyes is just silly!!! They could have just as easily used LED display of the Already Known common status shapes or words instead of displaying this silly cutesy pattern that is used for nothing else and where the LED placement, lit or unlit in pseudo-motion have no obvious meaning, Unless you read and memorize the little leaflet of what the statuses mean. Bottom line: Yes, I can say that the quality, fit, finish and performance of this hub is actually better than expected…. The cutesy LED eyes & nose is just too silly to be useful and detracts from it being a serious product that is better than its price would indicate.

Good for light use cases / SteamDeck friendly
Cute, extremely light, and decent speed. I use this for a port extender on my PC but also for travel with my SteamDeck, it does work to charge while playing though id note it pulls 40W instead of the needed 45W but there has been no issues so far and it charges just as quickly when playing Cyberpunk. I wanted to compare this to my UGREEN revdok hub as they are the exact same specs and ports but this one has a display and is slightly thicker. Performance wise, they both perform the exact same. Including pics of side by side comparisons. The revdok has a nice metal feeling and satisfying weight to it, wouldn't call it heavy. This Uno product is significantly lighter and feels much more plastic. Id honestly trust the revdok more for intense use and travel just by how it feels, I'd trust if it got warm the revdok would dissipate heat better due to being steel>plastic. It's also slightly smaller in width/height and the weight difference feels more stable/durable. However the UNO display for information purposes is really nifty especially if basic troubleshooting is needed when using shady USB ports in public spaces. Ill keep using the Uno product for travel and keep the revdok plugged into my PC 24/7.
