Jiwa Rolled Oats 900 Grams (Saver Pack)

The best thing about these oats is that they are REAL ROLLED OATS. They are not those fake Kellogg's or Quacker oats which claim to be rolled but are actually quick/instant oats. In the pictures that I uploaded you can see that each grain is a whole oat, it's not cut. Since I wanted to switch to a healthier option of oats, I looked up the internet and got to know about this. It takes 10 mins to cook them in milk. Since they are rolled oats they soak up a lot of milk. They feel very chewy and have a good texture. But the only problem is that they have ZERO FLAVOR. They literally taste like nothing if you don't add sugar free or honey. You really have to compromise on taste to have healthy oats. They also keep you filled for a good amount of time. The packaging was good. It was sealed but the seal was a little bit open (which is I guess ok!)Overall it does feel like real oats which are whole without any flavor, so it's a value for money.

I was a bit skeptical after reading the mixed reviews.thankfully I received an intact jar without any insects, husks or worms.I have tried another brand where the rolled oats was more firm and crisp....this one was crumbly and dissolved when cooked like instant oatsAlso lot of white powdery residue at the bottom of the jar. The oats itself was a little bland...but it could be worse.Overall happy with the purchase ....maybe use it to make cookies or muffins. It just did not hold shape for overnight oats/porridge

The best oats available in India in 2018. Period!Throw a ladle of this oats in a wide mouthed bowl and pour 5 glasses of water (1L). Add a lemon sized piece of palm jaggery and a few crushed cardamom pods. Simmer for 40 mins over a low flame partially covered by a plate.Let it cool down, add a few raisins and slices of banana. You have the best breakfast on the planet.This brand of oats contain loads of fiber compared to other brands and once consumed opens up the flood gates. *wink* *wink*.PS: The pet jar oats is packed has a label with some non removable glue and once the oats are finished the I wanted to reuse the jar as a good recycling citizen and to minimize waste. But when the label was peeled off the glue residue remained on the jar driving me nuts. It was a great jar and Jiwa should also sell their oats in refills so that this jar could be put to better use. Also the lid of the jar is made of some slippery plastic and it should be made with matte surface or with striations so that people like us can open it in one try without slipping and sliding when hands are wet...!

The product is nice the oats are of good quality fresh crispy tasty it has good texture better than the instant oats which we get in the market these are nice packing was also done carefully so that it lasts longer Amazon delivered it timely I would like to thank Amazon for having a variety of products of good quality timely delivery I would like if Amazon could give more discounts on the products

The product used to be very good but since last two orders, it's quality has gone down a lot. It is more like the cheap instant oatmeal that becomes halwa in 3 minutes of cooking. Previously even after 10 minutes of cooking it never became like halwa. Eating Instant oats on a regular basis will promote development of diabetes due to the fact that such oatmeal is instantly absorbed in the intestines and converted to sugar quickly.UPDATEI want to add that most of the orders I placed after the above original comment were pretty much like instant oats. I guess in developing countries like India low quality is the norm rather than an exception. You pay for high quality but end up getting low quality cheap stuff.

I guess instead of going behind the international brands nd few Indian brands who sell oats like gold nd still fool the customer with the quality they offer, i feel Jiwa is out performs all of them, i am very particular of what i eat nd with no hesitation i can say that it is value for money

The product quality looked very good. But I recieved damaged package. The seal was broken and oats was all out of the box in the package. As this is corona time who can risk to eat. Anyways the product looked good.

100% Good quality rolled oats. Decent amount of protein. Packaging was good, comes in a plastic box. So no need to transfer into other container.Use it as overnight soaked oats. Taste good. Thumbs up.The only problem is the price tag. ₹ 200 was printed on box for 900gm package bt ₹ 275 was on amazon. I think there may be printing mistakes as u can't get 900gm rolled oats for ₹ 200 from any company from my perspective. So no need to worry.
