Little Simon DEAR ZOO

I have had this book for the last two years and it has been a big hit, first with my first-born and then again with my second born. This is how we read this book:I wrote to the zoo to send me a pet-They sent me an elephant, he was too big: my toddler extends her armsThey sent me a giraffe, he was to tall- she raises her both handsThey sent me a lion, he was to fierce- she roars like a lionThey sent me a camel, he was too grumpy- she poutsThey sent me a snake, he was scary- she shuddersThey sent me a monkey, he was too naughty- I tickle her and she gigglesThey sent me a frog, he was to jumpy- she jumpsThey sent me a dog, he was perfect, so I kept him- together we blow a kiss...I have also gifted this book couple of times and each time it has been a big hit with the babies as well as toddlers. Would highly recommend it.

Engaging

My child loves to read this book. Very cute book with a simple story, reaches about different animals and basic language development.He keeps picking up this book from his book shelf to read it again and again. I would highly recommend this book for kids between 2 to 4

My 2 and a half year old son absolutely loves this book. He likes opening the flaps and calls out the name of animals all by his own , the flaps are a bit fragile however much to my surprise the flaps have withstood my son's rough handling for about 2 weeks now

This is the very first time I am editing my review. Previously I had given four star. But this gem deserves five star.Previous review:It's really a nice book for babies who love animals. I gifted this book to my little one on his first birthday. He recognizes all the animals and loves to open flip-flaps. Book is quite sturdy too. One can make it more interesting by asking questions, illustrating more about animals.Why I edited my review:After six months of use it still keeps my toddler angaged. He still enjoys this book alot. Why are we expecting some extra ordinary stories every time? Some times simple story are enjoyable too.

Awesome book. Liked the concept. The book is made of thick cardboard and looks sturdy. My baby loves opening the flaps while i read it to him. Would definitely recommend it for 6 months plus babies.

My kid is 5 months old and really enjoys these peak-a-boo type of books. this one is great for playtime to educate them on wild and pet animals.

My kid loves this book. When I first saw this book, I thought he doesn't spend time with this. But to my surprise, this is one of his favorites.May be if I had bought this little earlier he was tearing of the flaps. I bought it after he turned 2 and he knows how to handle it now.
