Arrived next day, super cool present for 6yo, think she will love this bday gift. Gen 2 is classic version and can be paused by holding a+c buttons down - great so it doesnt die while kid is at school.

I bought this for my 8yo for Christmas and she hasn’t put it down. For the amount of attention she’s given it, it’s a bunch of bang for my buck. I enjoy hearing how she has to take timeout to feed and clean and play with her little pet, so I’m hoping she’ll learn a little bit of responsibility too.
