Easy to use and works great! Just what I needed for storing my long slicing knife which is razor sharp.

I have three works great trimmed it to fit the knife handle angle.

Has lasted quite a while, still good. Stays on. No complaints

This review is not regarding durability or longevity, as I have only owned it one week. It is plastic, so we'll see how long it lasts, but I'm sure how the item is handled or used will impact the durability.For now, this item works perfectly for my needs. I have a Fibrox 12" slicing knife (for brisket, pork, etc) and this edge guard works perfectly for this usage. It's basically a "taco" style edge guard, with an opening along one of the long edges. It resembles edge guards that accompanied some of my other Cuisinart knives. As long as you properly insert your knife into this protector, it should not present any issues (fear of breaking it, etc). I will look at purchasing more from this company to use for my other knifes.

Using this on a Victorinox Swiss Army 12 Inch Fibrox Pro Slicing Knife with Granton Blade and it covers the whole blade and fits tight so I don't imagine it'll slip off accidentally. It's a nice thickness too so I think it'll hold up for a while. And I like the bright yellow color so I know where it is if it's laying out on the counter while I'm prepping other stuff. Even if it lasts only 2 years, I'd say it's worth the $7 price. Have had it for just 2 months (writing this Apr 2017) so will update if any problems.

The description led me to believe this was just a plastic sleeve. I was happy to discover that the back is open so it clips over the edge of the knife. It will fit anything from a slim filet knife to a massive meat cleaver. It's good quality too. I was envisioning it to be something akin to office supplies, but it is robust like something you'd find in a tradesman's toolbox. It's worth the price they are asking and worth having to protect your knife's edge.

Hard to find guards long enough for a 12 inch knife. This does. Unfortunately, my 12 inch knife has a curved tip, and this guard is not deep enough to cover the tip, but that's my fault I should have factored that in. I am pleased with the guard.

Great product! I got this for my 12" slicing knife and it fits great. Goes on very easily and is nice and secure. The only problem with this product is when the knife handle meets the blade at an angle. This product has square edges. So this leaves about 1/3" of the knife blade exposed because it cannot butt-up against the knife handle properly. Not a big deal to me, but want to make others aware of it.

Had one before and liked it so much I bought some more. It seems to be very stable and safe.
