Small warm light. Doesn’t last long
Hoping for the price it really gives off UV rays. Need another one. Doesn’t give off heat, but warmth. May just buy a regular sized one.Edit: ordered 75 watt two pack. After a week one of the bulbs died. The original 50 watt still works after 3 months, though.Edit: original 50 watt bulb died just over 3 months. Cheap and doesn’t last

Cool and useful! Great price and way superior to the larger bulbs.
Except for shutting it off after the power goes out this is a superior product. It floods the terrarium with a lovely, natural light which belies its diminutive size.No more burnt hands opening up the latch either.

My turtle approves!
This is my second purchase of this bulb and my turtle loves basking under this bulb. It last a year last time and I full expect this one to do the same.

Short life span
Did what it advertised to do but only lasted about 3 months for each bulb... and that was with the recommended fixture for it. Will definitely be buying elsewhere for a bulb with a longer life span.

Does what it should do
Not bad, but not great either. It is an awkward little bulb, but it gets the job done right.

Works 2 months
If you don't mind buying a new one every 2 months, then it's OK. It was on usually a few hours daily for 2 months, then died.

Burn out quickly.
We ordered 3 of these bulbs for our tortoises, all at different times. The 1st one burnt out after about 3 or so months. The other two burnt out within weeks of use. Do not recommend. I sent them back for a refund.

Buy something else if you want longevity.
Worked well not bad for the money but blew in 37 days.Update - Blew again after buying replacement, using for 4 hrs a day. (6/21) Will not buy again.
