It does not connects two extended devices using inbuilt ports you need one more type c to hdmi converter.

USB Anschlüsse funktionieren leider nicht.
Ich habe mir zu meinen neuen Mac Book Pro 2018 extra ein hochpreisiges Hub bestellt, um alte USB-Peripherie und MiniDP Monitor anschließen zu können. Der Mini Displayport funktioniert bestens, dafür 2 Sterne. Die USB Anschlüsse versagen leider völlig. Zunächst funktionierten die externen Festplatten sehr langsam und zeitverzögert, nach 3 Tage meldeten sie sich im Sekundentakt ab. Arbeiten und Kopieren war somit nicht möglich. Umtausch funktionierte sehr gut.

Very convenient dock with very minor occasional (potential) glitches
All of my colleagues have as many as 4 connectors they need to put into their MacBooks in the morning. With this hub, I just need to connect one. For me it is a hub for Ethernet, HDMI, a wireless mouse, USB, occasional phone charging with USB, and power to the MacBook. There is lots of room to spare as well for even more functionality that I don’t currently utilize.Very occasionally my mouse will have glitchy movement (once every couple days for about 30 seconds), but there are obviously other factors that could be larger contributors (it is a Microsoft, not Apple, mouse, so it might just be general difficulty integrating with the MacBook).The dock does get quite hot, but I do not believe that this has yet affected its performance. I have not tried competors’ products, but I can definitely generally recommend this one due to its convenience and performance value.

So far it has worked very well and a great all in one prodcut for my 2016 USB C Macbook pro 13 inch. Honestly apple screwed up with their multiple dongles and this allows you to consolidate everything.

This item doesn't work
I mistaken bought 2 of them and can't return them now. I tried to use it for dual monitors and that was a joke. I figured out this was the issue because I found a cheaper one with less ports at work and everything was working as it was supposed to.
