Kingdom Come: DC Compact Comics Edition

I really enjoyed Kingdom Come. The biblical parallels give the story real weight, and the art captures that sense of myth perfectly. The depiction of Green Lantern as a kind of cosmic knight is brilliant, and the complex relationship between Wonder Woman and Superman adds real emotional depth as they clash over how to lead and what kind of world they want to build. An older, reclusive Batman watching from the shadows ties it all together perfectly. The art is absolutely gorgeous, with some panels feeling more like Renaissance paintings than comic panels, full of light, texture, and symbolism. It is a powerful, mature take on superheroes that feels both timeless and deeply human.

Good Story dc version of civil war very good

I love these books. Some of these I have as individual pieces and having the full story in an easy to consume format.

Worth it worth every money I've spend on this....

The comic itself is great; however I think the small form-factor does an injustice to Alex Ross’ iconic illustrations.
