I Am A Hero Omnibus Volume 6 , Paperback – 17 May 2018

My interest in the "I am a Hero" series hadn't exactly started to wane by this point, but I certainly wasn't quite as engrossed at the end of omnibus 4 and 5 as was at the end of 1 and 2. Volume 6 is a huge return to form, giving the story a whole new arc that ends on a huge twist before nodding back towards the main plot. It feels quite complete in itself rather than just another continuation of the same series, so finishing it was quite satisfying. There are fewer grotesquely twisted ZQNs in this volume, which feels a bit more like traditional zombie fayre than the Uzamaki/GYO flavour of previous volumes, but there's plenty of action and the new characters introduced fit the arc well. If you were already enjoying the series, you're going to really like this volume; if you were starting to flag, this may be the volume that reignites your interest.
