Two small gripes. You need to attach the strap yourself which is a quite fiddly job. Some people might need to borrow a child! The excellent instruction booklet sends mixed messages on water resistance. First it says IP68 then advises not submersing in water or using while swimming. I do not swim so not really an issue for me. Lots of plus points even compared with more expensive devices. It uses the app Glory Fit. That is very user-friendly and easy to use. It works well even on old phones using a pared back OS like Android Go. Step and distance counting bang in line with my other devices. Heart rate likewise with an extra plus point in that there are no 'blips'. My other watches tend to treat what is clearly a momentary erroneous reading as the high for the day. It shows as a spike on the readout. No blips with this watch. Lots of watch faces to choose from. I thought the ones pre-loaded all to be horrible but I found a nice simple one to download. And you can actually read the time in broad daylight. The watch is a little larger than I am used to with an appropriately chunky strap. So when you tap an icon you are more likely to tap the right one. With the idiot-proof instruction book this would make the perfect first fitness watch.

To be honest I got this for almost next to nothing with sale and added voucher,£13. Can't belive it. And an amazing smart watch. Better than my last one that cost me £50. It does so much more with all the features you want from a smart watch. Only downside no screen protector and not sure if a case for it bit yeah absolutely love this watch. Easy set up. Fast charging. Beautiful black color. Fits well with nice sturdy strap.

The Kedali Smart Watch is okay for the price—not too good, not too bad. It has a nice display and basic features work fine, but the build quality and performance could be better. Good for casual use, but don’t expect too much. Decent for budget buyers

I’m a big fan of watches, my favourite being Apple Watch, even though the battery only lasts for around 36 hours. When I had the opportunity to get the R1 for free (due to a combination of two discounts plus some Amazon credit) I thought: Why not? Since setting up the watch nearly a week ago, I’ve worn it day & night, received phone notifications and tracked two runs totalling 20km… and the battery is still at 40% 😮 Both the physical and digital feel of the R1 is similar to Apple Watch – and you can even give verbal instructions to Siri using the R1! Drawbacks are minimal, considering the advantages, which include the fact that the R1 is around 90% cheaper than Apple Watch. The GloryFit management app is fine and incorporates biometric data from the watch when tracking exercise, which needs to be done using the app. If the watch alone is used for exercise, routes are unmapped and distances tend to be inaccurate. Overall, this is a great smartwatch, representing superb value!

I wanted a real smartwatch, but the only good features are: telling the time, checking heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and measuring steps taken throughout the day. Other than that, nothing works well; after a few months, it simply stopped working.

I have been wearing it for months and it works so far so good. It's super lightweight that you can barely feel it when doing sports like jogging. Not only it has various sports and basic related functions, but can monitor my health. It's also easy to connect with my phone and record my daily activities. Worth the money.

Used the watch for 5 days without taking it off and it reacted very badly with the skin on my wrist. Might be better to take it off each day. Three weeks later rash has almost gone but red still visible around the wrist.

I have waited a few days to write a review for this watch. For the price, I wasn’t expecting a lot but wow! How wrong I was! I’ve always had the (ahem) leading brand of Smart Watch and found the battery life was very poor and because the interface is tiny, quite difficult to see too. This watch is fabulous! The interface is big enough to be able to easily dial a ‘phone number (even with my fat fingers!) The battery life is incomparable. My watch is on 64 % and it’s been constantly on my wrist, day and night for three days. The colours are bright and vibrant. I love everything about it! The only downside I’ve found, which astonished me with a Smart Watch is that the watch didn’t automatically update the recent time change when the clocks went back an hour…..I arrived at work an hour early…..
