Purchased this for my wife, and it's easy to see why it's been around for so long. It does a great job covering dark circles and brightening the under-eye area without looking heavy or cakey, and the lightweight formula blends in quickly for a natural look. The biggest pros are the coverage, ease of application, and value for the price. The only cons are that finding the right shade can take a little trial and error, and the sponge applicator may not be everyone's favorite. Works well, although don’t use much of it can kind of stick into the under eye circles. Texture and coverage feels nice, color matching is easy enough, since you aren’t much and it’s going to be under the foundation. Buildability - be careful if you have circles.

This is definitely worth adding to the makeup bag! I prefer even my husband not see me without makeup, where that possible 😆, but share pictures as such because I so appreciate that others do! In the first shot, you can see my skin has is somewhat red and blotchy, so this has quite a lot of coverage but really blends in well to helps to even out my skin tone. Once I’m basically done with my makeup, I sometimes reapply it under/above my eyes for a little more highlights… I find this helps pop the color more if I want more of a contoured look. The final two photos show my makeup when done… it clearly doesn’t make me look 20 any longer, but for 40, it’s pretty good. I wish it did a little more for my under eye bags, but it definitely helps. My layers are: face cream, Mac prep & prime (radiant yellow), Instant Rewind (100/ivory), Mac Pro-longwear foundation (N18), blush, Maybelline chrome metallic highlighter (50/rose gold), Bobbi Brown weightless powder foundation (warm beige), more Instant Rewind… and Mario Badescu facial spray to set. My lips are also Maybeline Matte Ink (seductresses). My makeup stays all day - I may touch up with powder if going out in the evening, but overall it stays put. So, yes it does have coverage, some moisture and staying power. But I also combine it with a lot of other things. This tube (.21 oz, $7, 12 hr wear) vs. my MAC concealer (.28 oz, $24, 24 hr wear) I don’t notice any difference with the coverage and they both last all day. But, this has a really smart design because it pushes every last drop out vs. a wand where you can’t quite get the last bits. Also, since there is not the same air exposure, the product is just as smooth and effective on day one as day 101. One tube has lasted me just over 4 months with daily use. I used to use MAC/ higher end products almost exclusively but moved to a smaller town and have started to use an increasing amount of Maybeline (like lash satinional mascara!). This stuff works. I use it 1st, then foundation, then again over the foundation on my face for all the imperfections. People comment on my skin, and it's ageless look. It is ONLY due to this stuff covering up all the dark circles, freckles, and sun spots. It's an economical cover-up, it does the job, and it doesn't settle into lines on your face. It's a necessary product.
