Solid quality, works just as intended.
I don't know why some folks complain about this adapter sleeve. Obviously hitches may vary in tolerances among different manufacturers and this sleeve will not fit exactly the way they want it to with every single application. I'm using this on my Ford Super Duty. With the holes lined up it sticks out about an inch past the end of the receiver tube, and there is a very small amount of wiggling, but I ain't mad about it. And I appreciate the two ears that prevent it from sliding too far into the tube. Another quality product from CURT Manufacturing.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently purchased the CURT 45405 Trailer Hitch Receiver Adapter Reducer Sleeve, and it has been a great addition to my towing setup. Put it in slowly
My receiver was super tight and I should've gone slower when inserting this. Went a little past the hole for the pin and man was it a pain trying to get it back out. Go slow. Buy her dinner first and ease it in lmao

Works great in a 2.5" Gen-Y Hitch for 2" items
Bought this to use as an inner sleeve for 2" attachments (such as a SpitzLift crane) with a 2.5" Gen-Y hitch. It fits perfectly, and allows for 2" items to be secured in the Gen-Y hitch.

Perfect hitch reducer
I needed a hitch adapter until I could buy a larger ball mount. I’ve bought Curt products before and they’ve been great. This is no different. The little detent really helps so you don’t push it in too far.
