Listing specs WRONG -VERY limited range, stops suddenly, cruise control dangerous,no bluetooth
No ways this unit gets the range in the Amazon listing description. You are lucky if you get 3-4 miles. This unit is a rebranded variant of the generic HX-manufactured X7 (google Hx X7 - they produce thousands of these a day in their factory ) but this version clearly uses low-quality batteries which essentially make this e-scooter impractical for most people as the battery drains VERY quickly and the range is 3-4 miles, and even less if you go up slight inclines. The low-quality batteries mean that the unit stops suddenly if you press the throttle to accelerate and there is a power draw - the batteries just cant handle the power surge. There are 3 ride modes, but only the red sports mode is usable, as the others are too slow. This sports mode is also a cruise control mode, which means you cant stop suddenly. This makes it unsafe for city driving where cars or people may appear suddenly.Note also that the manual says the unit has bluetooth - there is NO bluetooth though.Probably better to spend a bit more on other HX X7 OEM variants like the TURBOANT X7 BEEYEO X7 which MAY have better batteries and firmware without the unsafe sports-mode cruise control. The battery form factor is X7 generic, so use can use the same X7 battery across all the rebranded X7s.There is now also an X8 upgrade from Hx which has MUCH longer range, but uses a different battery form factor to its X7.

Solid sub-$500 scooter
First are foremost, I must call out that these specs aren't right: Max speed is more around 15-18 mph, range is like 9-15 miles depending on speed. Weight is like 27lb. (This is a rebrand what is commonly called the X7 scooter - available under a few names.)Finally got a chance to take it for a real spin: 9 miles on a trail, mostly flat. Kept the speed around 10mph and ended the trip with a battery reporting about 3/5, though I believe that gauge is optimistic. (I have another X7 and found that 1/5 was basically dead and 2/5 saw power drops at full power - don't know how this one's battery levels are calibrated but it's probably the same.)The pneumatic tires give a smooth ride, and are reported to be easier to change/repair than scooters with tube tires though I've not had to yet myself. They came underinflated, so be sure you have the tools for inflating them (including a valve stem extender) to the required 50psi. The power output is good - it's ability to climb hills is mostly limited by weight/friction on the front wheel. YMMV (literally too) as you approach the weight limit. On the negatives, I wish the cruise control worked a little better. It seems to be constant power rather than constant speed, so if you set it on a flat and go up an incline you'll slow down. It also doesn't work below about 7mph, and is a little unstable around there. The 3 power modes are neat, but again it's a little basic. The lowest setting limits power and speed, which is actually pretty nice (since full power can be quite torquey/jumpy) but hit a decent incline and you'll need to up the mode. It also doesn't seem to handle low battery super well: once you're at 2 of 5 dots it seems that full throttle causes some undervolt protection on the battery to kick in. I'm not too sure, I'll have to play around with that some more.Overall, I'm pretty happy. I bought an X7 as my first entry into the "budget" scooter line (over the m365, ninebot, etc) and am totally happy with that, so was even happier to get this one (#2) for $100 less (though I was a wary). It may mean a higher chance of lemons and worse customer service, but at least the one I got shows that these aren't all factory seconds or anything.

False information
This thing does not go 22mph and does not go 20 miles on a charge. It only goes 16mph and less than five miles a charge. The information given for it is false and I wish I didn't waste the money on it.

Overall a good value for a lighter weight rider
The scooter has some unique features that help it hold its own with the rest in the “ball park” of the 300 watt scooter market. 4/2020 At $200.78 - Bottom line, it’s perfect for a lighter rider on the intro side. For example, we originally bought it for a 200 lb. rider and it will go mid teens in mph only on flat ground but when you add a slight hill climb it will stop and your walking. If you take a pre-teen 70 lb. rider it will travel anywhere up or down plus it’s light weight and perfect for that size rider to maneuver or lift and carry. It’s just the facts of if you add more weight then it’s gonna go slower and get pushed to its limits when that hill arrives. The heavier rider will need to shop for a scooter with at least a 4 digit Watt (1000w+) rating in order to not be disappointed while out riding. But if you live in a flat area then regardless of you weight then you should be able to at least achieve speeds in the mid-teens. Hope this helps anyone with the 101’s of the lower 300 watt range scooter market.Follow up: May 24th 2020 still running strong like the 1st day is was worth every cent of the $208.32 we spent. As of today it’s going for 6 times the $ - an incredible $1,473.64. Now that’s just crazy. For that price you could buy a 3600 watt scooter vs this 350 watt.

This product does not do what is advertised
I was Uber excited for the arrival of my scooter. I charged up my scooter while reading the manual. I took my scooter out to run some relief to a covid victim and with 25 mins my battery was half. I did not go more than 2 miles. This product says up to 20miles distance, 22 mile range. That is a complete fabrication. I will more than likely return this scooter within the week..
