Welling Putt Practice Mat - Green, 8 M x 95cm

This is a big as a mat as you can buy and it is really nice. I took a leap and bought this with no other reviews to rely upon. I have to say I am please with the mat. The first one I received had some really really minor spots on one particular area and I figured that, for the money I paid, I should get a perfect one. I sent an email the manufacturer and got a reply almost immediately. They swapped it out with no fuss and I even received a call directly from the US distributor who just wanted to make sure everything was ok. The replacement is perfect and I have enjoyed putting on it. It seems to be on par with the other mats out there in terms of quality. The markings provide an endless number of training options and booklets are provided with 3 levels of drills that can be performed. One thing to note: this mat is HUGE. It is every bit of 26 feet long and maybe 3 feet wide. I have it laid out in a bonus room on carpet and it barely fits. Also, the ideal placement is on a solid surface. Mine is on carpet and if I step on it, it bunches up and leaves "humps" in the mat that the ball has to drive over. If it was set on hard wood or cement, I would be able to walk directly on it with no problem. But if you only have a carpeted area for it, just know that you will likely spend most of your time putting while standing just off the mat itself.
