Best in class and worth the cost
Bought these to block out sound, mainly to help concentration, but sometimes for sleep. That came quickly and have a nice small carry case and selection of different size bud heads to accommodate ear size. They are very comfortable both for day time use and for sleep, including side sleeping. Block out sound very well indeed. I recently misplaced them and ordered a cheap un branded pair from Amazon for under a fiver as I was sure I would find my Loup ear plugs again, which I did within 10 mins of placing order for the cheap spare pair. Question is why would you pay nearly £30 if you can get something similar for under a fiver. I have the answer for you and it’s about quality, effectiveness, hand feel, comfort. These more expensive ear plugs are superior in every way to the cheap spare pair. Very happy with my cheap spare as a spare, but these Loupe (gosh is it Loup or Loupe) these are really great and I get the feeling that they put a lot of work into design and testing. The carry case is nice and well made with a pleasant hand feel. The ear buds plugs are very comfortable to wear, more comfortable than my cheap spare pair. These block sound to a superior level and really help me concentrate and blockout the world around me. Not complete noise block but exceptionally good and I need to take them out if Iwant to hear what someone is saying to me. I know that Loupe do various ear plugs to fit the users particular sound blocking needs so you,any take your choice. I just wanted to block out everything. These work as well as my top of the range music ear pods beginning with letter A (don’t eat it) but of course these Loupes don’t play music, just block sound. I really very, ich recommend these and if you can afford to spend £30 odd quid instead of a fiver then these are worth that money difference. Very happy with my purchase.

Good for side sleepers
Helps to sleep when there are chinchillas in the same room training for the Olympics on their wheel!I am a side sleeper and these are comfortable to sleep in. There has been a few nights that they have fell out during the night and I had to search for them the next morning and so I had to buy myself a loop to connect them together.Helps to reduce the noise by quite a lot but you can still hear some things. The new design is slimmer.

A game changer
I use this every night as someone who lives around noise and noisy people. Also very useful for cafes or public places when trying to work outdoors. Doesn’t drown out ALL noise but definitely takes the edge off, just wish it came in brighter, funkier colours.

Great ear plugs but ridiculously expensive
I have several pairs of these and have found them to be the best ear plugs to reduce noise, for comfort etc etc. But there is an Elephant in the room. In fact it is not in the room as it is so big; it is actually the world's largest Elephant... The price - £29.99 for something that they shouldn't be buying for more than £2-3. Accessories are extortionate - £14.99 for an extra case which is just a bit of plastic!!I thought that I would try to get them direct to see if they are cheaper - they are the same price but then they add ~£5 p&p so nearly £35. For a tiny bit of rubber and plastic. I know how business works and fully understand the differences between unit purchase cost, cost, overheads and price etc but I am afraid they are trying to 'rinse' customers for as much as they can get.Maybe I should change the rating:- 5* for the actual product;- 5* for getting as much money out of their customers as possiblePerhaps they should listen to their customers?

Best earplugs I’ve ever used
I’m a super light sleeper and have over the years tried all sorts of earplugs. After seeing the hype on social media I thought I’d give them a go.I’ll be honest, I struggled with them the first few nights as I am a side sleeper and they made my outer ear sore. I almost gave up.BUT after looking into how to insert them properly (there’s a video online) the pain stopped and the noise reduction is better than any other earplug I’ve used over the years.I’m sleeping better and sleeping deeper, too. They don’t fall out of my ears at night. And they are comfortable.I’d bought a cheaper version before these and there is a world of difference.I know the price seems crazy but they have a two year warranty, you can get replacement/additional parts and they do look good, too.So if you’re debating buying, just do it. You won’t regret it. I am such a fan I’ve ordered a pair of the Engage 2’s as well.

The first pair of loops I have returned
I am autistic and an avid loop fan! I have the experience, quiet and switch. I have recommended loop to so many! When I saw loop has released the quiet 2 which were offering extra 2db of noise reduction and new and improved bud design I thought I would upgrade and give my parter my old loop quiets. My partner and I both get/got on well with the original quiets. However, I have been trialling these quiet 2s for around 60 days and just can't get on with them. We both sleep/slept in my original quiets and found them very comfortable, however, I find the quiet 2s really uncomfortable to sleep in (I'm a side sleeper) and found myself taking them out in the night due to severe pain. I can't help but wonder if they changed the design slightly to make them less comfortable for sleeping in order to promote the new loop dreams which came out shortly after these (maybe I'm a conspiracy theorist for thinking this)Easy to return, however, due to loops 100 day hassel free guarantee. I liked the colour and they felt great quality (as is normal for loop products). They also provide great noise reduction. I love that they are resusable and easy to clean. I just wouldn't recommend for side sleeping.Time to get me some loop dreams!
