MARENA Unisex Recovery Compression Chin Strap with Mid-Neck Coverage for Post-Op Mask

My surgeon sent me home with a standard athletic bandage to compress my neck area, but it was uncomfortable, itchy, and kept slipping. Moreover, it was time consuming to get that traditional bandage repositioned the right way every time it had to be re-wrapped. There had to be a better solution. Fortunately, my partner is in the medical field and knew about Marena compression bandages, so I ordered one. Night and day difference! I am 100% more compliant with wearing my bandage now, and can comfortably wear it 24x7. The pressure is applied evenly in the affected area and is constant and comfortable. It was also a nice surprise to see "Made in the USA" on the package. 5 stars all around.

This will rip out your hair. It's a horrible design. And the neck is not very compressioning.

I know one of the other reviews said that. I listened to that review and now I am returning the one I received for smaller one. Whoever wrote that must not realize how large their head is! Other than that the product seems fine. It feels soft and looks like good quality but I haven’t actually gotten to use it since I’m waiting on a smaller one now.

The velcro on top of the head and the back of neck area gets stuck in your hair quite easily, and it’s excruciatingly painful to remove. There is also a thick stitch in the chin area that causes a lot of discomfort as the fit is supposed to be snug. There is a lot of room for improvement when it comes go this product, but it gets the job done.

Says hook&loop closure at the top and the base of the head; reviews said it was velcro but ordered it anyway due to the description that iI read. It's velcro, slipts back and to determine the right size is deceiving, not happy with it so will return it.
