Saxon Math Homeschool 5 / 4: Solutions Manual

After switching to this curriculum I can honestly say that our 8-year old son is learning and retaining math like never before. He needed to be challenged and this math does that. The repetition of the concepts is what makes the difference as well as the spiraling approach/philosophy. For this math program to work with your child you must follow through with EVERY exercise in the book. It takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete every day but we have seen the rewards. Consistency and diligence are the keys to making this program work for your child.

The book came as described. Saxon math is an awesome program. Easy for our daughter to us by herself for self-teaching or review. We purchased this solutions manual with the student manual because we needed to be able to check our daughter's work quickly.

This has the solutions to every fact test, lesson warm-up, lesson practice, mixed practice & test. I like the fact that they often show they work so you can clearly see what should have been done. They even show the patterns for the word problems.

I am grateful for Saxon Math! It is easy to use and I appreciate the repetition of previous lessons so the student won't forget past lessons.
