Effective Carpet Moth Treatment.
Excellent Moth Reduction. I had carpet moths last spring to my utter dismay and horror. I had received a bag of wool from a colleague, put it in a dark airing cupboard with a hot water tank. I think this was the culprit. I used carpet moth powder, sprays etc. removed all the old carpet flooring. However these moths migrated this year to my living room. Male moths appearing around 9-10pm after a warm day. I bought Zero In aerosol for carpet beetles and moths. Immediately after the first spray, within 20 minutes I had approximately flushed out around 5-8 moths coming from the vicinity of my central heating radiator. I then moved furniture from the edges of my walls, cleaned the dust collection behind and inside the radiator. Vacuumed every corner, edges, under furniture vociferously. Sprayed Zero In specifically to the target areas. I don’t have pets, so I was very liberal with the spray and left the room overnight. I found what I think were a few female moths wriggling about the next morning. I’ve been conscious of keeping on top of the regime. So one week later applied the same technique. No moths so far. I have bought more Zero In and will keep up the routine. It does smell, but then it is an insecticide. I would recommend Zero In and along with a routine of deep vacuuming it works for me.

Good against Moths but unsure about Carpet Beetle
We moved into a new House and the Tenants before were really not caring as it seems. There was a moth plague. I used this Spray together with the RENTOKILL Powder and it worked out. They came never back. Now 4 years later we seem to have Carpet Beetle 🤦🏻♀️ Much more aggressive and those can actually fly and they spread much faster. So at the moment we bought about 9 cans for a room with Carpet, stairs with carpet and curtains in each room. The tins are tiny and expensive and - yes, it seems that some died but there are still so many. I don’t know if this is such as effective as like with the moth’s. The Powder we bought is this one: Rentokil PSC50 carpet moth and beetle killer powder The spray is good because it enters everywhere and so does the powder, it does go really inside the carpet where the Spray does not reach, but the Spray reach side where you can’t with the Powder (cause to narrow, under the bed etc). So for us it was good to use both. Open the window! Put a mask on 😷 The smell gave me headaches the first day. We put our Pet in a separate room for the first days and didn’t let him out. The liquid, ones it touches the surface, takes a (long) while until it dries. Will tell later if it worked with the carpet Beetle 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

GREAT!!
WORKS WONDERS!! i never write reviews but this has worked amazingly. I deep cleaned my room and then sprayed it EVERYWHERE including behind my wardrobe and bed. after a few hours i saw a few of them dead on the floor (sorry if that’s grim) and i haven’t seen any since. I am continuing to vaccum every day, have cleaned all my sheets etc and i have not seen any since. the smell of the spray is not THAT bad but i would air out your room because it’s a lot. every easy to use and best £7 i spent

Gets the job done, would recommed!
I would say this is really effective and depending on your regiment it can really help with carpet beetles. I first vacuumed my carpet really heavily and against the pile (to make it "fluffy"), which opened up the carpet more and let some of the bugs crawl up to the surface. I then sprayed generously across the carpet as directed and left it for a few hours to properly dry. I also sprayed the windowsill and the voile because the bugs liked them. After that I vacuumed again but just left the window as is. It's now been a week, and before I used to see 5 - 10 bugs daily, but now I've only seen 2 bugs all week and they were already dead (likely from touching the voile). The room I used it on is about 3 x 3 metres and the spray only just covered that, so buy accordingly. It didn't discolor the carpet or voile at all, but a small bit of the windowsill does have a little dark patch where I didn't move the spray fast enough.

Does not kill on contact
I bought this product as a last resort after trying some more natural products. Upon receiving this item, the cap was broken so I had to discard it. Applying this spray is relatively easy but the smell is a bit strong so its important to be able to ventilate the area your sprayed and make sure you can be away for a bit until it airs out. The biggest problem I see with this item is that it doesn't kill on contact so I am not really sure how effective this is. We've sprayed an extensive area and even sprayed the bugs directly but it doesn't seem to do much. Update: we have seen a our moth infestation significantly reduced so although it doesn't kill on contact, it does seem to be working to an extent so I've upped the rating to 3 star
