Writing this after several months of love. I had an older EcoVac for years which finally started malfunctioning (it could have been fixed but I was not up to the task). At first I bought another brand that I thought must be superior. Boy was I wrong. The EcoVac is miles ahead of every other brand. The mapping is seamless. It just works. It figures out where your carpet is all on its own. You can follow its every move on the map on your phone. And the anti-tangle brush actually works (my older one had a different brush and I had to manually de-hair it after every single run). This never gets tangled and it handles an intense amount of pet hair with ease (something I also had to handle manually with my older one). The auto-emptying actually works. It’s smart, high quality and just all around the best. It’s hardly even $50 more than the other brands that don’t have half the features and just plain don’t work. Get this one. You wont be sorry.

It's a great smart vacuum. The smartest one I've had. I see plenty good on the vacuum part, so I won't go into too much detail on that. My main point of disappointed though is the mopper. If you follow the instructions exactly, your entire floor will smell like a wet mildew towel after just two days of use. This is because the instruction manual says to only putting water into the mopper tank and to swap the mop pad out every 1 to 2 months. Gross! That's just not enough to clean any floor and prevent that mildew smell. You can't put regular soap in it because the suds will destroy it, so I'm currently trying to find recommendations for mopping additives. People have recommended Pine Sol or vinegar, but I haven't tried those myself yet. I may change my review if I can find a decent solution for the mop.

I am so glad I bought my house one of these for Christmas. Every night, it spends 2 hours cleaning my house. It mops and vacuums and keeps our floors clean and fresh. I use a scented mop soap with water in its reservoir and it makes the house smell very nice. It maps well and is capable of following directions. The battery life seems very good and I can easily use my phone to tell it to go clean a room or a zone on a moments notice. It let's me know when it gets stuck somewhere, but as long as I pick up the cat toys and keep the phone cords up at night, it rarely has issues. It also has a great ability to find its way back to charge and always empties the dust bin easily, unlike the other robot I purchased. Great value!

For the most part works great! I have 2 large dogs and it cleans up all the dog hair. I really like the scheduled cleanings. Also, like that it will fill up,empty and resume cleaning. Setup is easy. The only problem I have is that my wifi is spotty so it sometimes goes offline and doesn't always reconnect on its own. Once it's online everything works great.

Won’t stay connected to WiFi Update 7/15-it’s been a month of going back and forth with the “support” team. Even though the product is under warranty they are not providing and won’t provide a reason.

Somewhat difficult to establish a connection with a mesh network but this Robot Vacuum actually works had a 1st. Generation robo vaccum and boy have things changed for the better very well made. It's quiet..It also increases the suction automatically once it go over the carpet it ran over and extension cord.. untangled itself and continued it vaccum picked up all debris. The app for the vaccum is well thought out easy to understand and use once connected and established. I would recommend this vaccum to anyway looking to automate their home cleaning.

I have used iRobot for years however they seem to break down after a year or two so I decided to try something different so I chose ECOVACS robot cleaner. First it is easy to set up, battery life is exceptional, mapping is quick and efficient far superior to iRobot. You can also change settings on the fly great feature. Don’t need vacuum bags very easy to clean and get rid of trash. The no tangle feature works great we have two dogs iRobot dog hair was always getting in the rollers, not the case with ECOVACS robot vacuum. Also much quieter than the other brand. EVOVACS FLOOR SCRUBBING FEATURE IS AMAZING.

Vacuum is decent on hard floors. On carpet it's kinda meh. Do not buy if you have pet hair. I have to remove the roller at least every 3-4 days to clean it out, and it doesn't have enough suction to actually get it up into the dust bin most of the time so it just gets clogged. It usually will just leave the stuck clumps of pet hair around on the carpet or shower mats. I also ran into issues where it just goes into a weird sleep or off mode and then misses routines and says it's not connected to the internet and requires a manual intervention to turn it back on. But tapping the bumper wakes it up and then everything turns on. For the cost ~$400 there are much better options now. I've had it for a few years now and it's definitely time to upgrade.
