1.9 cu. ft. Countertop Microwave with Sensor Cooking, Stainless Steel, MS19DG8500SRAA

This microwave does everything. It has many functions from defrosting different foods to cooking to warming up. The special features can be set to your liking such as door lock function, sound on/off function. This one will automatically turn off interior light if the door is left open. I haven't found anything that I don't like.

This product was purchased prematurely for a kitchen remodel. I checked for damage when it showed up and looked “okay” at the time. Now that I installed it there is a 2” deep dent in the bottom that won’t allow it to sit straight and the door will not open. You have to have 3 hands to pull the door open while pressing the button. DO NOT BUY!!!

Samsung has a fantastic customer service and great app. I found this out the hard way we had a built-in microwave that died. It was about this exact size so here we are replacing our built-in with this countertop model. You can buy the attachments separately to make this a built-in there is a feature on there where the door automatically locks so you can’t just pop the door open and get your food out you can disable this but anytime your power goes out the setting reverse. It’s something to know, but it just does not make a difference to us because you can easily turn it off. You can also turn off the beeping which drives me crazy. I’ve been pleased with it. I will tell you the inside of this is black, which is great because inevitably something always spills inside the microwave and then there’s that weird discolored spot in the back of it that looks off you can’t see anything in the inside of this because the entire thing is black comes with a warranty, make sure you register it on your Samsung SmartThings app there is a noise while it is cooking. It is not a silent one, but it looks great and performs well.

Love the microwave. I hate the door lock feature.

Barely 3 months in use (not even 2 times a day) and got the famous error C-D1 (unfortunately I got to learn about it too late) This poorly manufactured microwave has a interlock in the door that is electronic, and apparently is expected to fail and when it fails you can’t use the microwave anymore unless you absorb the repair costs Don’t buy it, if you do, get the extended warranty But I don’t think anyone would be willing to deal with this headache right?

Matches the other Samsung appliances we bout for our new house. Works great and is good quality. Warms food up quickly.

The “unlock” feature is the most unnecessary and frustrating microwave element I’ve ever encountered. No idea why anyone would think people would want to *have to* press an unlock button before the regular open button will open, but it’s really stupid. If I had been given the choice to buy any other microwave, I would have; but I was given the chance to buy this one for very cheap (used) and I did. Absolutely not worth buying new, or even used unless it’s extremely cheap.

Two issues: the noise level is much worse than my older Panasonic and the automatic lock. Otherwise it works as it is supposed to.
