Amaco Rub'N Buff, Gold Leaf Tube

Bought to change the colour of a wooden mirror and it worked with so much ease. Dried quickly, looks amazing and is great value for money - plus, a little goes along way! Great also for covering any chips and scuffs too.

Great little product. Love the gold leaf colour. I used this to change my front door furniture from silver to gold. I found painting/spraying the furniture black before applying the gold made the application easier and gave a great colour.

This stuff is freaking amazing!! I have a very old picture frame and parts of the decorative wood have worn or broken off. I had tried matching the paint colours but to no avail. Then I added on the Rub N Buff and SNAP! The whole frame looks amazing. It covered up the original paint, the trying-to-fix-it paint, and the bare wood. Giving it a good old rub lets some of the old colours show through but it looks like it was supposed to look all along. Great stuff!

The tube is tiny BUT a little goes a long way. Very useful. Very gold Very bright.A general dab smear brush will brighten any object. Great if used as a highlight tool.. great stuff. I bought 4 just in case....

We used this on two things: grouting and to create a feature on a painted wall. Application is easy, just rub it and buff it. The grouting application is best done with an old toothbrush (or new if you're feeling flush). The ceramic tiles then just rub off fairly easily. The wall application is the same, however the surface needs to be perfect as any imperfections will show. The other thing is if you want a uniform application with no patina of application - i think you need to look elsewhere. However, in the sun it glimmers gold like no paint Ive tried. Its brilliant stuff.

Love this, it's nearly all gone, but the difficulty I have getting it delivered to my home address is absolutely impossible, all other delivery companies find it ok, only Amazon can't find it. What a flippen debacle.

I love this stuff and have rubbing it on everything in my house. 😂 It looks great on black and gives everything a nice antique glow. I even used clay to make scroll work for my ugly bathroom cabinet. I also poured some porcelain pour in a mold, painted it black and used this. They came out awesome! It’s easy to use and the smell isn’t overwhelming. I thought it was kinda expensive but it’s going to last forever. A little goes a long way. It’s easy to apply with your finger.Update: I’ve found if you rub on a big glop accidentally you can thin it with rubbing alcohol. It doesn’t come totally off, but it will lighten it and make the big glob even and not noticeable!

I have been putting this on everything that doesn't move! My fur babies better not nap too long or they will wake to find themselves golden fur babies.In all seriousness, the ease of use and color this product produces is great. It is a small tube, but you just need the tiniest amount to get excellent coverage. Great buy.

Absolutely love this product! I saw one of my favorite interior design/remodel gurus use this on kitchen hardware as an alternative to buying new hardware and thought I’d try it! Works great! Love the gold leaf color! Worth the money for the quality and quick diy!

Great stuff. Wipe on wipe off excess

This product claims to give a “metal finish.” It does not. I’ve had better results with spray paint, and I was looking for a better product. Buffing the Rub and Buff just kept smearing it and taking it off in places. I’ve watched a few videos online, followed the same procedures which aren’t at all complicated, but the results are definitely exaggerated with lighting because the product dries to a much duller finish than the dozens of videos and photos I’ve seen online. I’m extremely disappointed.
