Everything you think it is!
Absolutely great and inspiring for the price; and very native to Ableton (12 is what I use). It feels about balanced to the price in terms of quality and I use the fades for last second mixing and the play buttons instead of reaching over to my laptop. Very happy.

Better than Arturia MK3, Easy Logic integration
Last year I bought an Arturia MK3 Essential and sent it back immediately. The keys were very plastic and had that annoying clacking sound. On top of that, the Arturia had a very cumbersome script installation process which did not go well. Customer support was basically a joke. After some time and deliberation I decided to try the Launchkey 49 MK4. My experience was like night and day. The support page is very smoothe and well designed. Set-up was a breeze and so was the script integration for Logic Pro. The overall build and keybed feel solid. I look forward to learning all of the cool features but for now I'm just happy to have a keyboard the I could configure and play within an hour of unboxing. Well done Novation!

Love it
Love it. It hooks up SO easily with Ableton and Serum. I also use its chord naming and chord suggestion features, embarrassingly, a lot. Feels good, looks good, and plays good. Would recommend.

Just the right size and plays well
I write music and needed to upgrade my keyboard. The keys are full size and weighted just right - not too heavy, not too light. Has many features I am still exploring. I love it.

Quality Controller with Synth-Action Keys
The build quality is excellent and it’s very easy to use. Keys are springy but work for piano. Amazing job Novation.

Super Teil
Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Ding - bin zwar kein Keyboardist, deswegen kann ich nicht beurteilen wie die Tasten eigtl. sind im Vergleich zu anderen Geräten, aber für meine Zwecke sind sie gut (Full-Size und Halbgewichtet war mir wichtig). Die Pads sind angenehm, die Potis und Funktionstasten auch. Das einzige was bisschen besser sein könnte sind die Slide Regler, weil sie ein wenig rumwackeln, aber funktionieren tun sie auch gut. Was absolut super funktioniert ist die Integration mit dem Ableton DAW - es macht so Spaß mit 1-2 Knopfdrücken die Dinge im DAW zu steuern, man braucht keine Maus und Tastatur mehr und kann sich an das Spielen konzentrieren. Und das Software Paket was damit kommt - unglaublich viele guten Sachen, teilweise ein paar hundert Euro wert... Ich hatte Glück, dass ich den Preis von 211€ erwischt habe, bei anderen Shops war i.d.R. ca. 269€, was auch extrem gutes Deal war - also vllt. lohnt es sich auf Wünschliste hinzuzufügen und warten bis der Preis wieder droppt :)

はじめてのMIDIキーに
見た目がカッコイイです。 ベロシティカーブの設定をHARDにしても、強めに弾かないとベロシティーが100を超えないところがすこし残念ですが、 (私がピアノを習っていないせいかもしれません) OFFにしている限りは非常に弾きやすく満足しています。 49鍵というサイズもある程度の音域をサポートしながら、横にマウスを動かすスペースが出来るので丁度いいのではないでしょうか。 楽曲制作を補助する機能も充実していて、自由度も高く、ツマミにショートカットを割り当てて使ってます。

Un controlador MIDI completísimo y muy cómodo de tocar
Llevo varias semanas usando el Novation Launchkey 49 MK4 y la experiencia ha sido excelente. Las 49 teclas semicontrapesadas tienen una respuesta muy cómoda: no son tan duras como un teclado de escenario, pero sí lo suficiente para tocar con expresividad sin sentir que estás en un teclado barato. Las 16 pads son sensibles y muy precisas, perfectas para lanzar clips o programar baterías sin latencia. La integración con el DAW es uno de sus puntos fuertes. En mi caso, lo he usado con Ableton y todo funciona prácticamente “plug & play”: transporte, mezcla, macros, navegación… todo responde sin tener que pelearse con configuraciones. Los 9 faders y 8 knobs dan muchísimo control para automatizar o mezclar sin depender del ratón, y el puerto USB‑C es un plus en 2026. A nivel de construcción, el teclado se siente sólido pero ligero, ideal para moverlo entre estudio y casa. Los materiales no son premium, pero sí mejores de lo que esperaba por este rango de precio. Además, el diseño en negro o blanco le da un toque moderno que queda genial en cualquier setup. Si tuviera que mencionar algo mejorable, diría que las teclas podrían tener un poco más de recorrido, pero es cuestión de gustos. Por lo demás, es un controlador muy completo, intuitivo y con una relación calidad‑precio difícil de superar.
