these things are great. I purchase two and we put them together for a larger coverage when going outside with our daughter. Nice pocket size if you go on you own. Works for two people as a place to seat on and protect your rear from dirt.

As a person who lives in Japan this thing is great, no need to worry about sitting around dirtying your clothes. Also the fact that the folding lines are stitched in, even my wife is able to fold it back up and put it back in its carrying case. Will definitely buy the larger one when available.

Hard to fold unless you have a profound knowledge of non-Euclidean geometry. Or you can just roll it up and shove it in the expandable stretchy pouch. Definitely waterproof and can be used as a slip-n-slide in a pinch. Contains 7x more vitamin C than a normal tarp. Also, chicks dig it.

Perfect for my needs. Haven't tested out to see how it does with damp ground but the size cannot be beat.

Travel, beach, hiking, Disney: this blanket does it all. As a mom this blanket seems invaluable! It is sooo easy to just have along in my purse or diaper bag or backpack for hiking. We have used it as a picnic blanket at the beach and on mountain hikes. It doesn’t provide cushion but allows us to have a clean place to eat and relax. We have also used it to create shade but not when the wind is high. It is also great for travel. At the airport or Disneyland I can lay it on the ground so my daughter has a place to play or eat without sitting on the germy floor. It is easy to fold once you have the hang of it and packs so small that it can go anywhere. Highly recommend

Bought this for a music festival and international trip. I compared to a less expensive travel blanket that claimed to be fully waterproof. I filled both with water like balloons, and the water in the cheaper blanket immediately began to drip through the fabric. The Matador blanket did allow water to permeate, but it took some time for droplets to form on the dry side. This is sufficient for me. I haven't tried the blanket on wet ground, but I suspect it'll do a fairly decent job of staying dry. I did use the blanket as a makeshift poncho during a rain storm, however, and it worked.Pros: very water resistant (though not waterproof); very small and light; built-in stakes are convenientCon: fabric doesn't like to fold neatly—can be a bit of a challenge to fold back into its pouch if you're in a rush

This pocket blanket has been great for our family to use while on the go. It easily covers dirty picnic tables and is just large enough for our family of 4. The waterproof feature works well and dirt washes off easily. I do have to remove a start as the "weighted" corners need to be slightly heaver as it is almost too light which makes it hard to get situated and fold on windy days.
