IDK?
IDK, it may just be me, but I found this a bit bland. The bag is a bit silly, but don't worry if you don't use it all, just shove it in the freezer and it will keep fine for use later.

You're probably not going to finish the whole packet in one go.
Here's a simple recipe for Jajangmyeon (Serves 2-4):1 1/2 cups pork butt, cut into cubes1 cup onions, diced1 cup potatoes (or zucchini), diced5 Tbsp. black bean paste2 tsp. sugar2 cups water2 Tbsp. cornstarch dissolved in 2-4 Tbsp. of cold water400 g. noodles (I used Udon)Fry the pork until golden brown, set aside. Cook the black bean paste on the same pan with the remaining oil. Add in onions and potatoes and stir fry for 2 minutes. Add the pork and water and boil until the potatoes are fork tender. Season with sugar. Lastly, add the thickener. The flavor is okay. The paste already has some salt in it. I think the real challenge here is balancing the umami. Be careful not to over season so as not to lose the black bean flavor. It's not like the other paste that I have used before where there's little to no adjustment. Sucks for me. For first timers, you'll need getting used to (the taste). Again, to finish the whole packet you'll need to quadruple the recipe, which is a lot. Good luck.
