'Viperating' Snake Massage Bar

I bought this for my son who has asd and is very sensory seeking. It is sturdily built and has a nice ridged, rubbery surface, which is in itself an interesting texture for my son. It takes two c sized batteries, one at each end, and the ends of the unit screw in quite firmly, and is not an obvious screw fitting, which I was pleased about as my son would undoubtedly try to unscrew the ends if he knew they did so. It runs quietly too which is great, but all I would say is that if the person you have bought it for can't operate it themselves, remember to turn it off as there is no noise to remind you its still running. Having said that, I have forgotten it a couple of times when my son has wandered off, but it's still going strong on the first set of batteries so I'm really pleased about that too. All in all a good buy and I would recommend this product.

My son loves this snake we purchased this one as his old one which was smooth had packed up after years of use not bought from this seller though, this snake however is textured so adds to the sensory experience for him which he loves even more it really helps with his sensory processing needs

Bit too heavy

I was recommended this for my 21 month old son. To big and to heavy for him but for older children I’m sure it would be great

Instantly calms and settles my autistic 3 yr old boy . He uses it if he's had too much sensory overload . I also got one each for my mother in law and her sister in law who are in their 70s , who suffer from arthritis and migraines . They've helped dramatically .

This product is not as pictured or as described. The parent of the child I bought this for was a little offended. The review left recently which describes the item as being used by a lady is very accurate. This product is not designed for Autistic children. The seller ignored all communications and refunded only my original selling price and not the costs of the forward and return postage. I would not recommend his product or the seller.

Bought as presents for 2 Autistic boys of 2 very different ages! Loved by both boys! Great quality and hopefully will be used by both boys for a long time!

Not as described. Was sent a smooth, blue bar in a very 80s looking box. It was bought for a disabled child, but had pictures of a leotard-clad woman (not unlike the fitness women you used to see on morning telly in 1986, making you feel bad for sitting on the couch) using the bar in various 'poses'. Not particularly appropriate when it's been specifically advertised as a sensory toy for children with special needs.
