Metal Dice Set for DND - Cthulhu Round Hollow Orb Design for Better Rolling

They were a gift for a friend of mine's birthday. She loved them! They are exactly what they claim to be in every way. Solid set of dice, not flimsy or cheaply built. They roll well, make a cool jingle when you have multiple in your hand, and the design is fantastic. I know the price tag may put a few people off, but if you are into D&D or even just board game/games that utilize these type of dice--go for it. You won't be let down and you'll have them forever.

I ordered the “Ancient Bronze Cthulhu” dice, and I like the look of them! They do indeed make satisfying jingly sounds when held or rolled together, and they’re very light and rounded. It’s nice to have a d4 that’s not a caltrop. They really aren’t hard to read, though they come with directions and a linked video. I also like the Cthulhu faces with green eyes like little idols. I can’t guess about their long-term durability, but they’re cool!

These feel like really high quality dice. They have a very satisfying jingle to them and they’re pretty easy to read. The dragon motif kind of fades into the background behind the numbers and isn’t too distracting. My biggest complaint (if any) is that the color is very slightly more green than I expected.

Very awesome set of dice. The orb design does make for more fluid rolling, especially with dice towers. They make a satisfying sound when rolling multiple dice together. It's a tinkling chime sound. The only (slight) downside is that this set of dice is often "cocked" when rolled. This is particularly true with the D4. That's the only reason for 4 stars rather than 5.

So pretty! Love how they roll. They sound like bells when you roll multiple at a time. Durable yet light weight! My favorite dice to use as a player!

GoboTLDR: Clicky Clacky math rocks makes dice goblin happy, get them and not be sad! Shiny coins for shiny balls is good trade. These are some amazingly beautiful dice! they are so eye-catching and sound fantastic to roll!!! I actually had a reason to pull my dice out in class (random selection of people for tasks) and everyone were absolutely in love with these! They also come in a very nice bag! On top of that, when they are sent to you, each die are in their own plastic baggies!!! Its a nice touch. ^.^ The only bad thing I can say was I have a super small white spot that I was worried was exposed metal or something, but after getting it into proper light and much to my delight, it was just a super small spot of paint that you can't really notice unless you really REALLY look.

There are minor blemishes with how the numbers are painted on. Maybe it's only noticeable to me (I tried to take the best picture that I could to show them off). I've bought dice from this company before and they had the same problem. It's so close to a perfect 5 stars, everything else about this product is great, I just really get bothered that my numbers are like this... although I've seen reviews with people saying that other colors are way harder to read than this one. The purple/white is super easy to read, if you're worrying about that. --- Edit: Alright, look... the original dice I got weren't perfect as I said before, but Soar Forge offered me a full refund. I used that refund to order another set of these orb dice (blue this time so that I could tell the difference), and the issue I'd brought up was resolved. It seems like the numbers are either painted on by hand, or done with a machine that makes it look like it's done by hand. I'd like to point out though that the second d20 I received (the blue one) is about 20% smaller than the original one... I will send pictures later, but I find that funny. I could see how someone would find that annoying however. At any rate, I'll only rate something 5 stars if it's perfect, and my new ones are. Thank you Soar Forge, very cool. :)

Ever since I started playing D&D a few years ago, I have been collecting dice of all colors and styles when I can afford to and this are very beautiful and lightweight. I was able to get this with one of my YouGov Survey Gift cards so I don't have to feel too guilty buying these. What brought me to them was the odd shape promising for more random honest rolls than the standard plastic dice which from my testing confirms that. I love that they add little bumps to allow the dice to come to a stop so you can read the number that you rolled. I love the finish on both the frame and the gold numbers. With the larger sided dice it is hard to tell there is a design behind the numbers but with the D4 and D6 dice, you can see a dragon. Now for the jingle sound advertised, you do have to roll with other dice in the set to get the sound, they are hollow on the inside so when they cling together they sound like small wind chimes. When I have more spare money, I think I might buy more from this seller.

Received my dice today and I couldn't be happier. Thanks Soar Forge for making a premium product. Dice are lightweight and easy to read and the rolls are pretty random and fair!

I just received the revised version of these dice and I am quite pleased to the improvements to the d20. The new d20 is about 25% larger and now lands clearly on the intended number and is much easier to read the number now. Customer service was quick to respond and very efficient and professional. I can gladly recommend these dice wholeheartedly now.

My only complaint is that the 12 and 20 sided die don't fit down a dice tower I purchased. For some reason they are slightly bigger than the average dice. The dice themselves are great.

My daughter said she uses them on a soft dice roller mat.
