Super easy to use -- toss them in the ice bath and let them do their thing. They are a handy thing to have -- you may not think they do much, but just try not using them and you will see the difference! Washable ( +air dry) and they are ready to work once again. Depending on how often you use the ice bath, you might consider having a couple sets on hand for rotating through and keeping the filters at their best.

These scum absorbing balls work great for picking up small particles in our portable ice bath. They are about the size of a tennis ball and float around to catch tiny debris that invariably ends up on the surface of the water. They are chemical free and washable as well. Perhaps a couple more of these would be more effective and we plan to purchase those. However, any way you slice it, after 2-3 days of two person use, you will have to drain and refill. We choose not to use any chemicals in our bath (as it seems to defeat its healthy purpose), so between frequent refills and these ball absorbers, we should be able to continue this plan.

Just let float in the tank as soon as it’s gross throw in the wash. Love how easy and simple these are to keep it more fresh!

These scum balls are amazing! They float around and do an excellent job of keeping my cold plunge water clear by absorbing oils and grime. Reusable and easy to clean, they make maintaining the tub effortless. Definitely a must-have accessory for anyone with an ice bath!
