Xperia P: Great phone.
I bought this product quite a while ago now, and I am still impressed with how balanced it is; size for power, and power for price.The's processor is capable for most tasks, it's GPU is perhaps not as strong, but it's still good for all but the most demanding games and apps.It's display is gorgeous.Bright and sharp; but the brightness is met with a trade off of poorer colour reproduction; over all though I am impressed with it.The battery, unfortunately has too small a capacity.It's power saving features must be taken full advantage of to achieve a passable standby battery life.Only five hours can be expected from a full charge with heavy use of the phone.(gaming/videos)The camera is a very capable 8MP snapper producing good quality images above par for most phones.HD video capture is passable.Externally, the phone has a premium look an feel which Sony is only just starting to match again.It's comfortable to hold and suitable for one hand use.I would still recommend this phone even with it's weaknesses, which primarily is battery life.If you can live with a short battery life, you can't go wrong with this midrange phone.If the battery issue is not acceptable, I would recommend either the Samsung Galaxy SIII Mini or, if you're willing to pay more, the Motorola Razr i; though I have not used either of these phones.

I bought this phone because my previous phone (an Xperia Ray) had a screen that was no longer compatible with my eyesight - too small. So an upgrade was on the cards, and I selected this very stylish looking model, and friends and colleagues have admired it. I am not disappointed with its performance, and like any other smart phone you load the apps you want. However the life span of a fully charged battery can be easily used in less than one day. So if you are a gamer, or a songster, this may not be the device for you: which is why I gave it 4 stars.

Sony Xperia P Sim Free Smartphone- Black
Excellent smartphone, lovely aluminium casing, fits in the hand well. Since purchasing, it is now running ICS with a Jellybean update from late March for this phone and some other Sony smartphones. My previous mobile was a Sony Ericcson which I have had some years and has given excellent service and still does. Battery life is good but depends on usage. Came well packaged with an HDMI cable in the box, USB cable, charger, and earpieces. A lovely 8 megapixel camera that takes great shots and 3D panoramas. Also a NeoReader on the back. Music Unlimited for a trial period too. Deivery very good.

It does what was promised
I choose Xperia P mostly because of it`s size and the camera. I don`t like devices called phones but you actually need a backpack to carry and two hands to hold to your head so most of the newer models just fall out of the list.In general the phone has a quality feeling with the metal unibody and the bright screen. I especially like that it has a separate exposure button for the camera and the design is not the usual soap holder but something more unique.The phone itself knows everything what is expected from an Android phone. I did not use the built-in Sony applications as I had my own choice for those functionality so cannot comment on those. I did not experience any speed issues so far, but also I`m not on the gaming side so did not use any hardware intensive applications.The camera is good however struggling with photos making in a back lighted environment. Shutter speed and picture quality both good.I especially like the power saving mode which with light use (1-2 minutes call and <10 minutes wifi) last up to 4 days, while with moderate use last up till 2 days. So far I only found one environment the phone did no scope well. I was hiking without coverage and the phone exhausted itself less than 4 hours.Bottom line is: I like this phone and recommend it if you don`t need the newest and biggest model and don`t use powerhouse applications.

Great phone
Bought this phone back in January really like it the camera is amazing best one I've seen off a phone call quality is great phone is easy to use for texting battery life is good between charges some people have complained about battery life but don't see what the problem is myself mine last 3or 4 days. All in all yes there are better phones out there but if u want quality phone have a look at this one.

Its okay.
I lost my Xperia Ray so bought this as a replacement. I think my old phone is superior to this one, in terms of the screen quality, overall finish and materials used.It already has a dent in the back cover and doesn't feel particularly nice to hold and the screen has progressively become less and less responsive, So its durability is questionable. But it does what I need it to do and because I've owned a Sony Xperia its okay. I will try another Android other than Sony for my next purchase.

bought for my daughter, not so big as the 'T' or galaxy so better for smaller hands, very quick processor, good camera quality, very quick gps lock all round a very good phone, if it was water proof i'd have one myself
