Looks and Sounds Great
We have been upgrading all of our speakers this past year. Our older ones were completely outdated and a few struggled to work. Anyway, I wanted a speaker that could be plugged into the wall but also had the capability of being portable if need be. This speaker caught my eye. I just really liked the overall look. Then I read the specs and it had features I was looking for. The LCD display is backlit, as well as both VU meters. The audio is 200W RMS power, with a Tri- Amplified System. 2 at 40W and 1 at 120W. It has a 6.5 inch subwoofer, two 2.75 inch dispersion balanced mode radiators, and four auxiliary bass radiators. We can connect via Bluetooth, USB playback that supports mp3, wav, FLAC files up to 64GB, and AUX. There is also a FM radio with analog tuning and presets to quickly get to our favorite stations. The remote has a good range and is ultra convenient. There is a Party Sync feature where we can connect 100 speakers at once. That seems excessive for our needs, but we did try it out with 3 additional speakers. Even 3 extra ones got pretty loud. Thankfully, it was during the day and most of our neighbors weren't home. 😂 There are definitely uses for that and it's a bonus to have. However, that won't be a feature we use regularly. It comes with a strap to carry it around, though we set it up on our record player stand. It's a tad large for the stand we have, so I'm looking for a larger unit that looks more like furniture. The strap is very handy if we do need to take it anywhere. Overall, it was easy to use, paired quickly, and has clear sounds and deep bass.

Don’t buy this as Amazon Renewed!
Purchased as Amazon renewed, bad idea. Unit looked clean, and like new, had the accessories, missing factory, Styrofoam packaging,, bubble wrap was used, but electronically it is trash. Sound is horribly distorted. Tried FM with antenna, paired Bluetooth to my iPhone - all the same garbled sound like a blown amp or speakers. Read instructions to reset the unit, no change. Interestingly the display reads March of 2016. Lastly after leaving plugged in for an hour, it doesn’t even hold a charge - makes me wonder if the battery is missing? Extremely disappointed. The description said like new - mint condition - fully tested. I thought that “tested” woild imply that it works - not just powers on. .This must be a returned item - because it does not work. I even opted to have it shipped to me in Amazon packaging - I would have thought there would be some packing materials- nope - just the heavy Aiwa box jiggling around inside a bigger box. Sending back.

Sounds ok, but not over $400 ok.
I have been looking for an old school looking boom box that is bluetooth ready. I have found a few, but sound quality was an issue for me. Either, too much bass, too little bass, too much midrange, or no highs. Now, this is not perfect in sound quality, but it does sound pretty good. Bluetooth connection is very fast from my cell phone, I also haven't had any problems with drop outs. Having adjustable bass and trouble helps a lot with the type of music you like, but to have a midrange adjustment could make this unit maybe perfect. UV meters is a nice touch, but are not accurate. Same with the spectrum analyzer, mostly for show. I haven't noticed any system case vibration at loud volume yet. The size of the unit is also a little exaggerated in the picture. Go by size specs, not the photo of it hanging off the guys shoulder. I also think the 200 watts RMS is a little exaggerated as well. After charging the battery, I payed it at moderate volume till it turned off. Battery life on first charge was pretty good at 15 hours. That's including the UV and spectrum. I got mine for $299. I don't think it is worth over $400. You get a strap, AUX wire, power wire, and an RCA antenna wire. I don't know why they just didn't put rabbit ear antennas on it. The RCA wire for an antenna is more of a pain to carry around.

Great sound quality!
I’ve had the Aiwa Exos-10 for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed by what it brings to the table. From the moment I powered it on, the sound quality was absolutely stellar. The 200W RMS power with its tri-amplified system delivers rich, room-filling audio that doesn't distort even at high volumes. Whether I'm hosting a backyard BBQ or just relaxing indoors, this speaker consistently performs. What really stands out is the bass. The 6.5” subwoofer packs a punch, and combined with the additional radiators, the low-end feels deep and immersive without being overwhelming. It makes every track feel fuller and more vibrant. Connectivity is seamless—Bluetooth 5.0 pairs instantly, and I’ve had zero drops. I also appreciate the added flexibility of USB playback and AUX input, not to mention the FM radio which surprisingly still finds use during morning routines. The Party Sync feature is something I’m excited to try for larger gatherings. It’s also convenient that it comes with a backlit LCD, a built-in clock, alarms, and even a remote—small things that add up in daily use. Yes, the price is on the higher end, but for what you're getting—power, clarity, features, and design—it feels worth it. A great investment for anyone who values quality sound.

Not as Good as the Past Model
Nice speaker but not as good as the previous model Exos-9. I was impressed with the connectivity, controls, remote and the eye candy of the UV meters and graphic equalizer was super cool. Unfortunately it fell short where I needed it the most, which was sound quality and loudness. The sound was flat, the bass was ok but not great and the volume didn't start until the knob was at 50%. It does get loud, but I was expecting Exos-9 loud. Also the battery wouldn't charge out of the box, but this was an Amazon warehouse item (used) at $100 less of list price. It was returned for a refund.

Used sold as new
Mine was used slightly but I paid for a brand new one. It works but damn where’s the honesty with Amazon or the supplier. It sounds good and functions properly, but I could tell it was maybe a return at some point.

Perfect for parties!
I got this speaker to use at a birthday party. We had hired a dj but they canceled a week before the party so we used this speaker instead and I’m glad we did. This speaker was ready to go right out of the box. It can be used with the battery or plugged into a wall outlet. We had no problem using it for the entire party with just the battery. We easily connected it to an iPad and it held the connection all night. It looks really cool, it lights up and it has a shoulder strap for easy carrying. On its own, it sounds great but we did pair two additional speakers with it and it was perfect. The sound is clear and it puts out plenty of bass. It seems well made, it’s solid enough that it can be used outside but still easy to carry around with the strap. Love it!!

A Great Brand Name Deserves Better
The battery never charged, so I couldn’t use the speaker in my garden as I had planned. The sound quality is poor, with noticeable distortion. The radio never worked either. The screen is very small, and navigating the menu is cumbersome, making it unnecessarily difficult to switch between the radio, Bluetooth, bass, and treble settings. The analog-style decibel needles look nice, but they’re basically just decorative. What good are they if the core features don’t work? I ended up returning it. I really wanted to like it, and it may work for someone who’s willing to put up with all these flaws. But for a $300 speaker, I expected much better. They revived the name of a well-respected brand from the ‘90s, but this product doesn’t come close to the quality that brand was once known for.
