Buy what you need and forget about the off cuts
Without seeing like for like you will never know if you are getting good value or not, however if you need a two metre worktop then buy a two metre length, most places will sell you a three metre lengths and no other, what do you do with the off cut? You end up with yet another unused bit of wood for the man cave and you had to wrestle with that over length chunk of wood, so I prefer to buy what I need and do it without having to struggle

Nice worktop and good service
I was concerned about ordering an offcut but this is perfect. Flawless piece of worktop, well wrapped and so with very little danger of damage in transit. Sized just above as advertised (length) and delivered promptly. Would recommend
