A good tool in the kitchen.
I bought my skimmer several months ago. I didn't find it at all helpful for removing oil. Lettuce leaves do a better job. Then, last night, I watched a video on YouTube showing it in use to skim scum off the top of broth while cooking a chicken. I found it worked well for that, AND I noticed that it was picking up oil at the same time. It wasn't perfect for that, but it did get some of the oil off as I prepared broth for soup, and the broth didn't end up as greasy as it usually does. So I am really happy to have this skimmer.
