A must have for air compressors
I have used my compressor for sometime without a water separator. I reasoned that draining the tank would be all I needed. I was wrong. I soon grew frustrated with moisture coming out of my blow gun, putting moisture in my car tires (which causes damage to your wheels), and seeing moisture coming out of my pneumatic tools. So I purchased this all in one unit. It seemed a bit small when it arrived but it has proven to be a fantastic multipurpose device. It removes the water and any rust, dust, and other trash particles from the getting into the air hose. You simply push up on the valve on the bottom of the bowl to empty. I keep a bucket under the bowl valve to catch to water. The regulator on top is easy to set the desired hose pressure and to change it as needed and locks in place so you don't change it accidently. It is also easy to separate the lubricator from the water filter - which I did. Not all of my air needs needed tool oil in them. I installed a "T" fitting between them that allows me to install a hose fitting for filtered air without passing through the lubricator and then another hose fitting coming out of the lubricator for all my air tools. Adding a couple of shut off valves and simple release valves make it easier to refill the lubricator with oil without having to discharge the entire air system.I installed a second unit just like this one on my pneumatic lift and the lift works better than ever.If you use an air compressor at home or work I recommend you install this unit on it. You won't be disappointed, you'll enjoy your compressor more, and it will be a life saver for your air tools (they require dry, lubricated air).

Big fan of IR products!
Definitely happy with this purchase so far, as I have been with all of my IR products. Great for my use, and I certainly like the automatic tool oiler. Shortly after mounting and connecting this, I shut the supply line off to the regulator. I came out a few days later and noticed the gauge on the regulator was about 80psi instead of the 100psi I had set it to. I quickly thought, did someone change this or did it lose adjustment somehow… only to realize that the air supply was still off to it, and it still had retained that much pressure from 2 days earlier. To have a regulator with air drier and tool oiler, along with the removable bowls and adjustments that go along with that to only lose a few psi over a couple days was really impressing to me, and that was on a really small volume of air (about 3’ of supply hose). As soon as I reopened my supply line valve it went right back to where I had set it. GREAT PURCHASE! I’m very happy with the quality and value of products I get from IR! I will continue to purchase their quality products!

Quality regulator/filter/lubricator combo
Great quality combo Regulator, filter and lubricator. The connection between the two units is solid and they are reversible if your line goes from right to left instead of the "as shipped" left to right. It took me about 10 minutes to make the changes since I needed one of each.Currently have 2 in use with a rapidair system in my garage in conjunction w/ a Husky 60 gal. from Home Depot. As setup: compressor -> 3 ft. 1/2 goodyear whip -> shutoff valve -> to harbor freight regulator/filter combo. - > rapidair manifold. -> to two lines. -> each is split to the IR reg/filter/lube combo and then attached to the rapidair outlet. I'm also running a downtube at each branch for water management.combo appears to work well. I'm running about 115 psi at the tank regulator, and each IR reg combo runs about 90 psi, when active I get about a 5-10psi drop when running depending on the tool.the IR reg/filter/lube combo unit is the best i've seen on the market for the money. It feels solid and well made in stark contrast to the Harbor freight pile that's earlier in the system.Better than the harbor freight pile, cheaper than the Campbell Hausfeld from HD and appears to be higher quality. I'd recommend this unit over any of the other units. It costs more than some and less than others but it's the nicest out there.

Good regulator/oiler combo and customer service (provided parts to fix), but did break just out of warranty
Worked well for about a year before developing a leak at the pressure regulator knob. Root cause was a torn diaphragm. Contacted manufacturer who diagnosed the issue and sent service kit (PN 104430 or 104431) free of charge/next day air. Product was out of warranty. Really happy with that. The service kit included a diahpragm, washer, spring, and plastic section with orings. Replacement was relatively straightforward, but instructions provided by manufacturer were a bit vague. The part that i was confused about what removing the top section. I thought that you needed to unbolt it from the inside, but the top just unscrews (i used a crescent wrench on the threaded top section, it did scratch the threaded portion a bit, but i don't use a locking nut on there anyways...)Other than that, pressure gauge is very small and pointers, which are used to mark compressor on/off pressures, are impossible to get at without removing a snap-fit cover, but you only have to do it once, if you bother.I dont use the oiler much, but it has worked when i have. The water drain is very easy to use, you can just push the rubber portion extending from the bowl off to whatever side is convenient. Oiler and water bowls are easy to remove, click securely into place, and seem well sealed (orings). Water bowl catches a surprising amount of water (i have to emtpy once every week or so of intermittent use).Overall, im happy with the product's performance and really happy with the customer service, but i do worry about its durability, specifically i worry that the new diaphragm night not last any longer than the last. Hopefully it was just a defective diaphragm. Will update if the repair fails.
