Was a gift for my husband

I recently bought a 12" CampMaid dutch oven and when I first inspected it I noticed a hairline crack on the inside of the bottom. It began from the center and radiated outward to one side. I took a picture of the crack and sent it to CampMaid requesting a return authorization. Upon reviewing my photo they immediately sent a replacement and told me to just keep the original rather than incurring the expense of mailing it back to them. So I gave the original to my neighbor to use and he will see if the crack gets worse or is of no consequence. Thank you CampMaid.
