This lego set is a bit basic, so I don't really recommend it for kids over the age of 5. My toddler is 4 years old and was able to assemble it himself with a bit of guidance. This set isn't really as nice as some of the other sets available, such as the Doughnut truck which goes for around the same price, and the silly exhaust pipes on the tow truck that constantly fall off which becomes very annoying. I was considering rating this lower than I did because of this, but give it 4 stars because the toddler was playing for it for a while after it was built and turned the exhaust pipes into a gun.
