Firstly, the claim of a "toolless installation" is inaccurate, as the setup requires the included screwdriver. More critically, the device fails in its primary function: the supplied thermal pad is ineffective, leading to significant SSD overheating and thermal throttling. This is compounded by persistent issues where the SSD intermittently disconnects from the host system, resulting in operational instability. Overall, this is a very poorly engineered and unreliable product.

It works well, but the speed of copying many files with small sizes is not really impressive

Ugreen has always live up to its reputation and buying this was the best thing i did. Quality wise, speed transfer wise, body built of the item and packaging was great. Dont settle for anything less. This will be used for long term.

The ssd enclosure itself is very good, the build quality is pretty nice. I'm using 1tb ssd and its working pretty good. But the usb-c wire that it came along with is very very bad. It keeps disconnecting by itself and the read and write is very very bad. I used another ugreen usb c cable and its working fine with that.

Works but the included cable is garbage - would detect but would fail within a minute or so. After swapping the cable it worked great.

Acquistato per riutilizzare un SSD NVMe che avevo inutilizzato e devo dire che sono rimasto molto soddisfatto. Il montaggio è semplice e veloce, non servono particolari competenze e in pochi minuti il disco è pronto all'uso. Nell'utilizzo quotidiano si è dimostrato affidabile e stabile. Lo uso regolarmente per trasferire file di grandi dimensioni, archiviare foto e video e come unità esterna per backup. Le velocità sono molto buone e, collegato a una porta USB-C adeguata, permette di sfruttare bene le prestazioni dell'SSD installato. La qualità costruttiva mi ha fatto una buona impressione fin dal primo utilizzo. Il case è compatto, leggero e facile da trasportare, ma allo stesso tempo dà una sensazione di solidità. Anche dopo diverse ore di utilizzo non ho riscontrato problemi di disconnessioni o malfunzionamenti. Un aspetto che apprezzo particolarmente è la compatibilità con diversi formati NVMe e con vari dispositivi. L'ho utilizzato senza difficoltà su più computer e il riconoscimento è sempre stato immediato. Dopo diversi mesi di utilizzo posso dire che si è rivelato un acquisto azzeccato. Cercavo un contenitore affidabile per trasformare un SSD NVMe in un'unità esterna veloce e capiente, e questo UGREEN ha soddisfatto pienamente le aspettative. Lo consiglio a chi cerca una soluzione pratica, ben costruita e affidabile per l'archiviazione e il trasporto dei propri dati.
