Took a risk on this as the reviews were mixed. Overall I'm very happy. The chair is pretty and seems solid (granted I haven't been jumping on it and my guests who have used it weighed 225 pounds or less). Have had it for a few months now and so far so good. Assembly was straight forward. I have seen some comments about needing to drill holes due to misalignment of parts and I'm wondering if they simply were installing certain parts backward. Not sure. But mine at least went together easily enough. As far as quality of materials - it seems ok. I'm 6 foot, 300 pounds and I have avoided really using it for myself based on reviews about it not being very sturdy (it is more for guests who are spending the night etc.) but it does hold my weight while sitting on it in the regular chair position (I haven't lied on it as a bed myself, although people that are in the 225 pound range have and they haven't had any issues, said it was reasonably comfortable, etc.) Overall, I think for a room where you don't want a dedicated bed but need something in case people come over it is a very good value. Even for someone skinny / small who needs a convertible sleeper (I'm thinking a college student living in a studio apt. etc.) it could work daily use.

I was a bit skeptical to buy furniture from Amazon. When I saw this chair, I went on a whim and bought it because I wanted a bright colored chair. Shipping took a while, but was within the expected delivery date. It came in two packages. Assembly wise I had the same issues as other people and was really frustrated to the point where I just wanted to chuck it out the window. After a bit of calming tea and some meditation, I regained myself, got someone to help and all was good again. This is an amazing statement piece! Definitely eye catching. The fabric is bright, a little rough, but not uncomfortable. The seat is very wide and the cushion is pretty firm which is what I wanted. The backrest has 3 settings for upright, beach chair laid back, and all the down. The "ottoman" is super easy to pull out with the rollers and easy to lift it into place. The only downside is once it's pulled out, I cannot push it back in unless I lift up the side that's stuck. It's not meant to do be like that and note that I did install it correctly. I've only had this for 2 months but I really love it. Only time can tell if the chair would soften up, which I don't want. Overall, great chair!

The color is better than expected. I don't think this chair would hold up with daily use, but its perfect for our home office. I love the versatility of the pull out part. As a bed, we'll need to put topper on it, but for the occasional overnight guest I think it'll work just as good as sleeping on a couch. Its definitely not comfy enough for multiple night sleeps without some additional padding. Had a small delay in shipping (only recieved 1 of the 2 boxes) but the seller was super helpful and swift with assisting to ensure we got the 2nd box really quickly.

The chair started out perfect. Fitted all our needs. A comfortable chair for everyday and a bed for the rare occasion we had a over night guest. After two weeks the chair will no longer locks, on one side, in the up right sitting position. Update: Both of the hinges have pulled their screws out of the plywood. So we must now lean the back of the chair against the wall. Also the tops of the arms have collapsed as the thin cardboard used has been pushed all the way through. Last the seat section can no longer support your body and now dips down. So if you lay on it facing up you have a your upper body bent back down to the floor. Your but is sunk into the seat with the wood support in your lower back. But the leg area is very well supported. But it looks nice!!!!! We tossed the $326 chair in the dump last week. Cost us $15. As for the supplier they wouldn't let us return it.

I ordered the navy chair for a tv/guest room. It is exactly what we wanted. It does arrive in three boxes, not at the same time. The chair was easy to put together. I did help my husband hold the arms while he attached them. It is wide enough to curl up in to watch a movie. The cushion is stiff but not uncomfortable. No one has slept on it yet, but I’m sure it will be fine. The foot slides out easily to make into a chaise or bed. The back of the chair is not completely covered. I didn’t know that when I ordered. Not a problem for where it is placed. I’m very happy with this purchase and would recommend to others.

It arrived FAST. 2 days early actually which was nice. One box had some damage but the product seemed ok. Assembly should have been easy. Just a handful of hex bolts with allen wrench included. Easy peasy for someone like me who has extensive experience putting together flat pack furniture. However the assembly was not easy for me. The threaded inserts where the bolts get screwed into were off by 1/16" making it really difficult to get all the bolts lined up. Before you ask, NO, no I did not tighten some of the bolts down hard before threading them all in. I was a good boy and tried to get them all threaded in part way before tightening. The problem was that either the insects were off by 1/16" or the metal frame was off byb1/16". Either way it was a wrestling match, and I ultimately won the battle. I am a six foot tall, 225 lb guy and I had to put all of my muscle and weight pressing down on the corner to get 3 of the bolts in. So make sure you are prepared for a potential battle. Other reviewers said that assembly was easy, so maybe I just got a bad unit. One minor annoyance is that the bolts and washers come coated in a lubricant/oil. It's probably to prevent the hardware from oxidizing, but it sucks to get greasy hands and then be expected to put your oily hands on your brand new upholstery. When in "chair mode" the seat is deeeeeeeep. It's ok I guess, but not super comfy for regular sitting. For my purposes it will be fine because it will go in my kid's room and my toddler and I plan to curl up for bedtime stories on this chair. There is enough room on the seat for both of us, and she can pull her legs up and get cozy. Lastly, I wish the ratcheting back has three settings, but I really wish it had one more that is a bit closer to vertical. Because the seat is sooooo deeeeeeeep the angled back feels really far back. When in "chase lounge mode" this seems pretty great. Good for reading and relaxing. I will have to get back to you about "bed mode" because I haven't slept on it yet. I expect it will be pretty good... especially compared to sleeping on the floor. As I mentioned above, I got this for my toddler's room, and the bed mode will be a massive upgrade from me sleeping on the floor next to her crib on those challenging nights when thunder, lightning, fireworks, etc make her too scared to sleep in her room alone.

This gets shipped in 3 boxes and they arrived on different days. Initially seemed strange, but everything arrived just fine. The final product looks great, but it was exhausting getting it there. Many of the holes didn’t line up, and it took a lot of strength to get it to the end result. It’s definitely a 2 person job, and it requires someone with a little brawn. Also, we originally thought they forgot to send us the screws and legs, but they were hiding in the cushion. I just had a hunch to unzip it, which if I hadn’t, I’m not sure we would have ever found them. Lol! It is a bit firm (definitely not soft), but that doesn’t bother us. In our opinion, it’s a bit expensive for the amount of work it needs in order to put it together, but we are still happy with our purchase as it looks great in the room.

Purchased for our home office to provide a spare guest sleeper. My first choice was navy blue, however that was out of stock so I chose dark gray. (It looks more like a denim blue to me but that's fine. I like the color.) It arrived in three boxes, and not all at the same time. Our first two boxes arrived on time, one day apart. We thought the third one was missing, but it arrived about a week later. The seller was very responsive to our inquiries. The chair was not too difficult to assemble, and if paper instructions are not sufficient, the company also provides a nice clear video of the assembly. Not too comfortable as a chair. It is a bit firm, but we expected that from reading other reviews. The seat back only has one level of adjustment between straight up and flat down. I think there were supposed to be a couple of additional levels of adjustment, but nothing else locks in. The foot piece lifts out easily to pull out to a reclining position, and returns to a chair smoothly as well.

The chair comes in two parcels. Fairly easy to pit together. Very firm! Haven't used it yet so don't know about comfortability and what sheets to use.

Easy to put together. All the instructions and parts came in one box. The chair is a thin, which I guess was to be expected. It looks nice in the space for where I wanted it. I haven’t tried it as a bed yet. But I do have a topper that I I tend to use. 4 stars because of the thickness and comfort. But it is very sturdy when you put it together with lots of parts to hold it securely.
