“You do not learn tarot. Tarot teaches you.” —Rabbi Lamed Ben Clifford For many, the tarot serves as a compass, illuminating the path to their “true will” and guiding them toward their destiny. If you’ve ever felt stuck or unsure of which way to turn, the tarot offers a beacon, revealing unseen options and providing clarity on difficult decisions. Now, you have a unique opportunity to master the art of tarot under Lon Milo DuQuette, an internationally recognized authority on tarot and esoteric principles. You will discover how to interact with the cards, whether new to the tarot or an experienced reader, along with learning the unique colors, correspondences, the basic symbolism of each of the seventy-eight tarot cards, their history, and simple ritual exercises designed to activate and integrate the spiritual forces resident in each individual card. By the end of the book, you’ll bring together all the knowledge you’ve learned to create your own tarot deck—a tangible reflection of your journey and a tool for continued spiritual growth and divinatory practice. “This is an indispensable tarot grimoire that is both accessible and profound. The serious student of Western Mystery Traditions is going to cherish this text.” —Benebell Wen, author of I Ching, the Oracle and Holistic Tarot “Few people have explored the underlying dynamics among the qabalistic and tarot correspondences to the extent that Lon DuQuette has.” —Mary Greer, author of Tarot for Your Self Review: A well crafted book - Excellent very easy to read and he takes you on a journey which builds the knowledge in an easy to understand way which illustrates how much he knows his subject and as always no BS and Lon humour comes through too which is great. Review: Fantastic - Lon Milo Duquette brings a whole new way to learn and interact with Tarot. Not just a how to book but a roadmap that takes you step by step in your journey.😎93s

Great for both beginners and advanced
Lon has done it again. Great for beginners but also a deep dove for those who have been practicing. I love it

A real gem!
This book is an absolute gem, the knowledge within it is a true gift, if you really know, feel and sense what it is offering you.

Dissapointed yet again, and misled.
I like Lon, but this is his third main tarot book and I'm disappointed for a third time. It's an expansion on his previous book about his tarot deck Tarot of Ceremonial Magick, which I was disappointed with also, all those years ago when the first edition (there's a 3rd now) came out. For many it'll be a good book, but for some, like me, it might not. It's specifically refers to his own deck. It includes the Liber 231 spirits, which many people may not be interested in. It includes the 72 spirits of the Ars Goetia as linked to the decans as in Liber 777, but these spirits were collected from diverse alternative hierarchies prior to being listed in the Ars Goetia do have nothing to do with the decans. Like most books out there, it relies on the colour scales, double letter to planet attributions, tree of life path attributions, and path intelligence attributions of the Golden Dawn. But there are alternatives out there to all these. The blurb seemed to indicate that it would be applicable to tarot cards, not just Lon's deck. There may be some useful 8deas in it, and some techniques, but it's not Universal in its scope. :(

Buy this book.
Honestly, Lon Milo DuQuette’s The Tarot Architect completely flips the script on traditional occult books by treating your deck like a blueprint for a 3D spiritual temple. He strips away all that stiff, gatekept Hermetic ego and talks to you like a cool, down-to-earth mentor handing over a hard hat, showing you how to lock astrology, Kabbalah, and art together like structural joints. It's wildly creative and totally unlocked my brain as an artist, especially the way he links cards together and challenges you to sketch out your own customized deck by the end. Whether you're totally new to the vibes or you've been reading cards for lifetimes, this book completely reconstructs your practice from the bedrock up without ever losing its sense of humor.

Another DuQuette Masterpiece
Another DuQuette masterpiece; he never disappoints. Excellent for all those who use or wish to use the Tarot, from beginner to old hand (no pun intended but welcomed).
