Tech21 Evo Check Case for LG V20 - Clear/White

This is my second purchase of the Tech21 Evo Check Case for LG V20. At first glance, I didn't believe that it could be all that "protective", but so far it has been. I didn't want something bulky, because the LG V20 is a phone that has fairly large dimensions as it is. Using this case helps keep the phone protected, while not adding to the overall size of the phone. The case is made of silicone rubber. It is smooth to the touch but not slippery in the hand. Putting the case on the LG V20 is easy, you just put the top end in first, and then mold the remaining ends around the phone. It pops right into place and stays put. In three years, I've never had my phone fall out of this case. All port, cameras, and function buttons are unhampered and easily accessible once this case is on. The only down side: My first purchase was the clear version of the case. The clear rubber case eventually yellows with age and looks nicotine-stained. You may be able to wash the case clean, but for how low-priced this product is, I opted to purchase a second one. I recommend the Tech21 Evo Check Case for LG V20 to anyone who wants a minimalist look, no added bulk, and good protection.

I really wanted an aqua- or turquoise-colored case for my phone, but alas, these apparently do not exist. Seeing this awesomely-priced clear case got me wondering if I could cut a piece of paper to fit between the case and my phone. I'm happy to report that it works great! There are diagonal lines in the case that will show up on dark phones or papers you might want to slide under it, but they're not very noticeable (see photo). I plan to pop in some different papers or 4x6 photos for a change any time I feel like it! Without a case, this phone tends to pop its battery door off and jettison its battery, and it's slippery! So I had a bad time living without a case when my old case fell off my kayak into a river, never to be seen again. (I forgot it didn't fit in my dry bag until I was on the water.) I was very glad when this arrived, and it's been great for the 2 weeks I've had it! (But now I leave my case on shore when kayaking! I really don't want to lose those one!) And it's a great price. Buy it!
