Excellent anthology of the Four Tops
This is an excellent Motown anthology of the Four Tops which covers their hits plus album cuts just as good as the singles. Includes Baby I need Your Loving, Reach Out, I'll Be There and Still Water(Love). Two CD discs with songs to keep you entertained. Well the price and a great addition to any music collection.

Astonishingly Poor Re-mastering!
I cannot believe that this imported product by Universal Music, that contains many of the most important recordings by the Four Tops would be ruined by poor digital re-mastering. The volume level for all of the tracks is low and the sound is thin and tinny. I own another Universal Motown GOLD SERIES box by Martha and the Vandellas and it is re-mastered at 24 bit and the sound is amazing. It is because of the Vandellas collection that I purchased this Four Tops set and instead of getting a real winner, I get a gigantic loser. It is so true that you can't judge a book by it's cover. Now that I have spent my money on this CD I notice that all of the other Motown Gold series critiques on Amazon have 5 star ratings except for this one which has no ratings at all. Poor sound is the reason. Well, you now have my rating of 1 star.

Four Tops on Top
This is basically The Four Tops Anthology released in the 1980s but repackaged as part of Universal's Gold series. However the album does not use the most recent Motown Remasters, and as the Anthology series was an American release, the set omits the UK only hits Do What You Gotta Do, What Is A Man and Simple Game. Though it should not spoil your enjoyment of such classic as I Can't Help Myself, Baby I Need Your Loving & Reach Out, I'll Be There, alongside such rarely heard gems as I Got A Feeling, I'll Turn To Stone & In A Different World. Other highlights include a live version of the standard Climb Every Mountain, with the late great Levi Stubbs giving a fine vocal performance, and probably the definitive version of Jimmy Webb's MacArthur Park.

These singers are the tops and sing beautifully
The Four Tops were one of my favorite's when I was a teenager and they still are. My children also listened to them as they were growing up and thought they were great.

A great CD
I have liked The Four Tops for many years now. This CD is the ideal to play on long journeys with so many tunes to listen to . This is The Four Tops at their very best.

Very Good
All I wanted and a few more.Recommend this rather than "The Ultimate Collection" with it's mostly murky-sounding mono recordings. Though "What Is A Man" and "A Simple Game" at least are absent.
