Great for the touch
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL Wireless Gen 3 – Lightning‑Fast, Ultra‑Responsive, and a Joy to Type On The SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL Wireless Gen 3 is easily one of the best keyboards I’ve used. The keystrokes feel incredible — smooth, crisp, and satisfying — and the adjustable actuation makes a huge difference. You can set the keys to respond with the lightest touch or give them a bit more travel depending on what you’re doing, and the responsiveness is genuinely next‑level. Wireless performance is rock‑solid with zero noticeable lag, and the compact TKL layout keeps the desk clean while still giving you everything you need for gaming or productivity. Build quality is excellent too, with a premium feel that matches the price. If you want a keyboard with great keystrokes, amazing response time, and top‑tier wireless performance, this one absolutely delivers. A fantastic upgrade for any setup.

My new favourite keyboard!
Incredibly sturdy build, great quality, feels great to type on. Incredibly responsive for normal typing and gaming. Battery life is brilliant as it's lasted me ages per charge.

Keyboard stops responding randomly and needs a restart.
This keyboard it feels nice to type on, very sturdy and comfy, it looks nice has options. But.. it crashes. I have used this keyboard for 6 weeks and it stops responding randomly, playing games need to duck and on no shot in head because keyboard stopped responding and needs a restart. This is unacceptable. I got this to replace a wireless Logitech keyboard which felt cheap to type though in the gaming class of keyboards. Never broke. Just the keys feel cheap because they rattle. Always hated it but kept with it.

Not worth it
This by far is the worst keyboard I have ever had. Wireless keyboard sometimes disconnects randomly sometimes when I game keyboard decides it’s a good idea to turn off all the lights and in the dark I can’t see what I am pressing. I bought steel series this keyboard, headset and microphone and all of them are by far the worst product I have ever bought waste of money and their software steel series gg is horrible always crashes always and voice from my headphones go back to monitor. If you are a gamer like me above average don’t buy this keyboard.

Deeply unimpressive & massively overpriced
This has got to be my greatest waste of money in a while. I was looking to move off of my Logitech G915 Wireless; I've had the G915 for probably 3 or 4 years at this point, but I wanted something a bit different with the typing feel, plus I find it a bit too wide for gaming. This review is after 3+ months of use. But on topic, this keyboard has been nothing but issues; and a disclaimer, despite me mentioning i'm on Linux, I do keep the keyboard up to date - I am aware that software isn't supported in Linux, but there are ways to get around that and update the keyboard using either Proton in Steam or Bottles. It does recognise the keyboard and will update it when required. First is the key sizes and spacing. I have relatively large hands, but I haven't ever had issues with grazing the caps lock key frequently before. It got so bad and uncomfortable to use without grazing and therefore pushing the caps lock key while gaming, I disabled the key in the software, and removed the key cap for the caps lock key altogether (I don't use the key, so not a big deal not having it there). Next is the battery life. This thing barely lasts a few days on the lowest light setting, meaning it's plugged in more often than not. I also could not for the life of me figure out how to save profiles to the keyboard, no matter how much I tried. Once the software wasn't running (I run on Linux Bazzite at the moment for my personal machine), it loses all configuration, this also happened when I tried configuring it on a windows laptop. Also, I know it's TKL, but no screenshot key I found was a massive hindrance. I wanted something smaller because my Logitech was so wide, but I did miss the number pad a bit too much for development and other work. Lastly is the shockingly poor connection. When this keyboard wakes up, it frequently takes up to 5 seconds for it to find what it's connected to; this happens in both Windows 10/11 and Linux. If I switch it to Bluetooth, it takes the same amount of time to connect, making it incredibly frustrating to use. This in comparison to the earlier mentioned Logitech keyboard which will connect instantly from waking in both Bluetooth and dongle mode. It frequently doesn't wake up OS's (Linux Nobara, Bazzite, or Windows). It will often just lock out entirely after sleeping for probably more than an hour, making you play a game of "guess which configuration you should be in this time" as you turn the thing off, on, leave it off for 10 seconds, turn it back on to the mode you want it on, and hope it finally figures out it should connect to the machine you want. I then tried to use it in wired mode instead, and unbelievably it has the exact same problems as it does in wireless mode except you have to unplug the keyboard, turn it off and so on. Utterly ridiculous. It also would sometimes lose connection mid game for either a second or two, or get "stuck" on a key. For example, turning left and it'll just stick on the A key and you'll constantly turn until you turn it off for a few seconds and back on. Overall the keyboard is far too unreliable for long sessions or important moments in competitive games. Since then, I got a monitor with a KVM switch, as, if I'm being forced to use the Apex Pro in wired mode due to the poor battery life and connection issues that persist either way, I may as well just go for a wired keyboard instead - so I did. I replaced it with the Corsair K70 Pro; which is infinitely more comfortable to game on, type on, seems to be better out of the box, and has really good media controls and other features. The Corsair definitely feels far nicer for everyday use including gaming. The only positive I can say about the Apex Pro is that it is very well built, however, it is a plastic chassis which is lacking for the price point, and very heavy for it's size (which I would have thought would be for longer batteries, but that clearly wasn't the case). It's nice for gaming once I removed the caps lock key, but I did just find the keys a bit too compact for everyday use.
