BACOENG 3.6CFM Vacuum Pump, 110V 1/3HP Single Stage Rotary Vane AC Vacuum Pump for R134a R410a R22 AUTO/HVAC System, Degassing Resin

I bought this to replace one I had purchased years ago as a set with the vacuum tank, gauges and lines. The original pump finally kicked the bucket and I wanted to replace with same since it did a great job. Noise level is not as bad as some I’ve seen and just enough so I don’t forget it’s operating. I am hoping I get as long as life as I did with the first. No leakage as of yet and didn’t experience any before. Value for money, I find it to be reasonable for its capacity as a vacuum pump and its ability to do its functions as a vacuum pump. Maintenance is pretty straightforward. Drain and replacement of oil is easy. I run it in intervals until the chamber has reached its capacity and to prolong the pump life.

Seems to work, rated ultimate vacuum of 5 Pa is completely bogus, I measure about 300 microns with a new Testo 552 digital vacuum gauge, which is about 40 Pa. For most uses, 300 microns is probably sufficient. The price is certainly attractive, don't know about how it might last. Mine was part of a kit with a 3 gallon glass top chamber.

Build quality: the cap on the bottle of oil in the box was not tight. oil leaked out all over the Vacuum pump. Amazon should send me another bottle of oil!!!!

Don't use this pump with HVAC. It does not have a built-in check valve and oil from the pump was sucked up into my air conditioner twice before I finally figured it out. What a mess.
