A fantastic upgrade from the iPhone 13 mini – superb camera and all-day battery
I upgraded to the iPhone 16 Pro from the iPhone 13 mini in April 2025, and the upgrade has been fantastic.Design and feel: I keep it in a case, so I only really feel the titanium finish when I take it out for cleaning, but it feels high-quality and resists fingerprints.Camera: the camera is amazing. It performs exceptionally well in low light, and the detail in both photos and videos is outstanding. Camera Control is one of the features I use most. It's seamless, with feather-touch press-and-slide gestures, and I love being able to slide to adjust different camera settings.Display: sharp.Performance: great, with no issues at all. It's fast, and I use it for everything, including AI tasks with Claude for day-to-day productivity: emails, calendar, note-taking, shopping and more.Battery: it lasts a full day; with heavy use I may need to charge it in the early evening.Storage: 128GB is more than enough for me. Most of my data is in the cloud, so it's a good balance without paying extra for more storage. What I'd change: coming from the 13 mini, I'd love a smaller version with the same features.Verdict: a fantastic phone. I'd recommend it to anyone who's held off upgrading from an iPhone 12, 13 or even 14 and wants a more affordable option than the latest model.

Great phone
I upgraded to the iPhone 16 Pro 512 GB from a iPhone Mini that was coming to the end of battery life.I went with this model in anticipation of Apple Intelligence which is due for roll out in the next 6mths.Operationally, there aren’t many differences between previous models but the battery life is much better and it’s really fast - has no problems with multiple apps etc.Only this colour was available at the time of order in the model / spec I wanted; otherwise I’d have gone for grey or black. But this is a minor detail and is irrelevant as I’ve put a cover on it. It’s not an unpleasant colour anyway.I like the new camera button - makes for easy zoom and operation. The camera is great.I bought a cover that came with camera lens covers, but without that I’d be worried about damaging them from drops as they sit quite proud above the back, so I’d recommend a good case specifically for this reason as I’m not sure how durable they are.I had a Pro before the Mini so knew it would be bigger but I’d forgotten how big… I’ve got quite long fingers so I can use it with one hand, but women or teens with smaller hands may struggle a little. My case is quite robust so that adds a little size too.Overall I’d recommend this phone. When I purchased, it was at a reasonable price and I couldn’t find it cheaper elsewhere.

Decent phone and does what an iPhone does
iPhone 16 Pro works fine even after a year and still expected to receive updates from Apple for 4-5 extra years and even more. Battery seems to be decent as well.

iPhone 16 pro to buy or not to buy that is the question.
On account of my age 83 I found the iPhone 16 pro quite difficult to operate for two or three months then things started to change and now nobody will be able to take it from me. I’m getting there. It’s fantastic but it’s been a bit of a challenge technically if you’re elderly it might not be a good choice but if you’re willing to study it play with it you should be okay to get one but be warned technically brilliant but if you’ve had no experience of iPhone, maybe stick to something a lot simpler possibly android.

Reliable and super fast technology PHONE or mini computer
Fast safe delivery.Brilliant transfer of previous iPhone to this phone. Spooky fast technology that’s so fast your passwords can’t keep up with it.Had to buy a charger lead for it as it only provided the iPhone to iPhone lead. But I got a really nice set of leads that I know I’ll eventually need over its life time. I nearly went for a Samsung flip phone. But I’m happy to stay with what’s familiar.Just wish they weren’t so expensive but this deal was better than Apples and to pay on 6 monthly interest free instalments has really helped me.So new efficient new phone with so much technology on it that I shan't ever figure out. But it manages my Apps and security with its biometrics thingy… I just don’t like having an App for my passwords. I was happy going into settings for them! Feels exposed Apple‼️Plus everyone has a zillion passwords and I prefer making my own than have their weird array of numbers and letters‼️ And it then makes you anxious because you might have used the same one twice! It’s not surprising since I was born in the middle of the last century! Give me a break. But I do enjoy using my phone with confidence and efficiency. I mss my plug in earphones. But my new non apple ear pods in a little pink case are brilliant and Bluetooth brilliantly.Learning curve is still rising with this phone.

Terrible product and even worse customer service!
Terrible product and even worse customer service. My phone completely stopped working after I plugged it in to charge it just shut off and never turned back on. Since then, I’ve been stuck in an endless loop for over two months trying to resolve the issue.Amazon customer service keeps telling me to send the phone in under warranty, but every time I do, it ends up with a third party repair service. They then tell me I have to pay for the repair, and if I refuse, they simply send the broken phone back. This has happened repeatedly just back and forth with no real solution. There’s clearly a disconnect between Amazon and their third party partners, and as a customer, I’m left dealing with the consequences. Extremely frustrating experience.I will never order a phone from Amazon again.

Meaningful improvements from the 13 pro to the 16 pro
After upgrading from an iPhone 13 Pro to the iPhone 16 Pro, I've experienced a mix of familiarity and novelty at the same time. The Dynamic Island is a standout feature that I absolutely love.Initially, I was skeptical about the new Action Button, but I've been pleasantly surprised by how quickly I've adapted to its functionality and the convenient features it offers. While I hope to never need it, the SOS Emergency Satellite Call capability provides valuable peace of mind knowing it's there in critical situations.Overall, this upgrade delivers meaningful improvements while maintaining the intuitive experience iPhone users expect.
