Works great in a Maverick X3
I got this switch to power my lights on my Can-Am X3. The install is straight forward. Your switch panel gets mounted to the location of your choice. The power distribution box gets mounted near your battery. There's one cable that connects the two together. You connect all your accessories to the main distribution box. You don't need any added relays since it's all solid state. It has (2) 30A circuits, (2) 20A, (2) 10A and (2) 5A circuits. This gives you a clean setup without having to mount multiple switches on your dash. You can change the colors of your buttons to your preference. You have 3 modes to select for your accessory outputs. 1 is a on-off, 2 is momentary and 3 is flashing.

Compact and safe design vs other switches.
Had a fire ok my boat with another brand of switches. This was recommended by an electrician friend and love the design. The on/off buttons are simply signals to a main board that flows the actual power. Wiring is fairly simple but you need to take the time to read the diagrams. Separate controls make mounting area minimal leaving space for other equipment. Fused with blade fuses keeps safety in mind.

Streamlines Complex Wiring with Durable Solid-State Safety; Two Feature Wishes
Right from the start, I was impressed by this kit; the presentation and packaging are really well done, keeping everything organized and secure. Before picking up the Auxbeam RA80, my biggest headache was dealing with the chaos of multiple accessories. I absolutely hated having a mismatched collection of different switches scattered all over my cab, with a tangled mess of associated wires running every which way under the hood. It looked messy and felt disorganized. This system completely solved that problem, streamlining the entire layout while massively upgrading my vehicle's electrical safety. Installation & Mounting: The install process was incredibly straightforward. I mounted the main control box to an aftermarket engine bay accessory mount. Because of the specific footprint of my mounting plate (not a flaw on Auxbeam's part), I ended up mounting the circuit breaker neatly to the side of the bracket, which actually worked out great. Inside the cab, I ran the switch panel right to the center console. It sits perfectly within arm's reach while driving, and the button backlighting makes it effortless to operate in dark environments. Performance, Safety & Value: Right now, I have my hood pods, comms radios, and the factory vehicle stability control (VSC) system routed through the RA80. If you own an early-model FJ Cruiser, you know that Toyota didn't include a factory VSC cutoff switch, which is incredibly frustrating when you need to disable it for off-roading. To fix this, I tapped directly into the vehicle's factory wiring harness and ran the trigger wire straight to the Auxbeam control box. Now, instead of a dozen individual accessory wires breaching the firewall, everything feeds into one clean central hub. And no more random switches everywhere! For the price point, this unit offers an exceptional value, delivering high-tier performance and heavy-duty safety features without the premium cost of higher-end brands. Out of the box, the components feel really durable and ruggedly built, which is exactly what you want for a rig that sees rough trails. My Wish List for Next-Gen Upgrades: While the hardware performance is stellar for the money, there are two quality-of-life features I really wish Auxbeam would introduce in a future update to make this the ultimate overland switch panel: 1 A Startup Memory Feature: I wish there was a way to set designated circuits to automatically power ON when the vehicle starts up. Because I have critical gear like my radios and that factory VSC circuit routed through the panel, Iโd love for them to boot up immediately with the ignition rather than having to manually power on the panel and press the buttons every single time I start the rig. 2 An Updated Overland Sticker Pack: The included sheet of pre-printed icon labels has plenty of options, but I wish it included a few more modern off-road specific titles. I was bummed to find there weren't stickers for highly common trail additions like "Chase Lights" or a specific "Traction Control" / "VSC" label to match my factory mod. Final Verdict: If you are tired of wire clutter and want a durable, safe, and streamlined way to manage your accessories , this is a highly recommended upgrade. It makes your electrical system infinitely safer. If Auxbeam grants my wish for a startup power feature and expands their sticker pack, this would easily be a flawless 5-star product.

Widely used for a reason...
No, Auxbeam does not make ultra high-end / premium auxiliary light controllers. What they make are simple, straight forward controllers that works and don't break the bank. I went for a more basic 8 switch unit. The switch panel is nice and solid with good mounting options. The mount pattern is pretty standard, so there are lots of aftermarket mount options as well. Running just one control wire through the firewall was nice too. The relay / control box is pretty standard....plastic shrouding isn't too bad, but may not be suitable to mount a bunch of stuff on top of. Breaker looks decent too. Instructions were straight forward and provided good information for personalizing the fuse arrangement to get the switch panel to match the layout I wanted. Considering it has weathered a cross-Canada trip where I was in 4 days of rain, running various lights (some extended time, sometimes lit up like a Christmas tree so I could be seen), I'd say it can take a pretty decent workout too. Overall: good quality, decent price and it works...if you don't need adjustable panel colors or flashing or momentary on light functions, then this is the way to go.

Loved it
I bought 2 of them to be installed in my JKU 2014 jeep wrangler rubicon, i installed 1 in the engine for exterior wiring (ex: bar lights, innerfenderlights....etc), and the other one inside the jeep for interior wiring (ex: dashcam, interior lights....etc) And i love it and recommended by my Mechanic
